If I woke up tomorrow and could no longer pursue game, it would be hard for me to describe myself to a new friend. Hunting has been a part of my life as far back as my mind will let me wonder. My grandpa was a hunter, my uncles are hunters, and my dad is a hunter, it is part of us as a family. It's the topic of nearly all our conversations and our free time is spent day dreaming, preparing, and hunting.
Before the Echo is a vlog of everything that goes into a year of hunting for me. The name "Before the Echo" came from the importance of preparation, scouting, and thinking before the actual hunt starts. I hope to provide entertainment and knowledge to everyone that follows along.
I agree with a lot that you said, I’ve definitely met quite a few people that are putting their trust in Trump, it’s very concerning as a Christian. However I do think he’s definitely the better of the candidates and he does deserve a certain amount of respect for the sacrifices he’s made, he’s risked his wealth and freedom, I do think that’s commendable and I do think he stands for Christian values more than JB
I think Jesus could connect to policies that reflected his character such as : Social justices Take care of the: Poor Homeless The refugee The Immigrant The women (victims of abuse) Children (put in prison in Texas and have yet to be re United with their families
Great episode Josh. We need to put our trust in the lord not in politicians. That being said God uses flawed individuals to do his will. I believe Trump really does care about this country and its people. Trump and his family get attacked constantly and they continue to fight for the country and its people. The voters who have a hatred for Trump need to take a long look in the mirror. Hope everyone has a great week.
Ya watched 45 seconds of debate and felt sorry for him. Had to turn it off. Like you said God’s will. Guess we just gotta watch, be watchmen. I’m sure it’ll all make sense to us one day.
This is a long one because I have a lot of ideas for you. ;o) I agree with someone who commented: A pop-up shower tent is a really good investment! There are several portable propane water heaters available for showers/dishes/car washing on Amazon. Put up a hook on the outside of your camper near the back so you can use the water heater for a shower and for your kitchen with a long enough hose. OR use a battery powered/charged pump submersed in a bucket {I saw a guy who used a cooler to keep his water warm. He filled it with heated water from his camp stove, then filled with cool water to the right temp. He used the submersed pump which comes with a shower type head and hose to create a shower for himself. They are WAY cheaper than the propane pumps}. Add hooks far enough apart to hang some hangers for wet clothes or towels. Maybe a corner wire shelf outside the wall of the bathroom. You can put several hangers through the wire shelving. Dollar store hanging shoe organizers are great to add to your door for organizing all kinds of stuff. 3M hooks are great, or 4 screws to hold them on! Little wire baskets or cloth bags on the wall are good for small stuff too. Jacks to hold up the patio is the best way I have seen. You may want to reinforce the center of your bed with a 2x4 "frame" mounted vertically to reduce any chance of you & the bed falling on anyone below & stop it from sagging in the middle. All big beds have legs in the middle to stop sagging. You could then use that to attach a shallow drawer or a shelf to store stuff on one side. 1 more idea is to add some "C" channel under the bed on one side to add a pull out shelf for a baby bed/changing spot. USB charged fans work for quite a while and you may want one or 2 to help circulate the air. If you can afford a Small wall mounted Maxx Air Fan it can really help move air in there and doesn't use much power, plus no worries about rain coming in since the vent is covered and angled down. A collapsible small dog pool with a drain could work great as a baby bath. I have seen people use oil changing pans for this as well. Collapsible sinks with a drain hole are great too. I hope your camping adventures are filled with many wonderful memories!
I've already got plenty of hunting clothes, so I'll leave the gift card for somebody that actually needs it, but the sherpa-lined windproof beanie that Asio sells for $29 looks awesome, i might actually order that for myself.
I was glad to see this one come out. I always enjoy listening to John. I wasn’t sure how to take him when I first heard him 5 or so years ago; however, John’s a great guy. He’s called me multiple times to answer questions I had sent him via email. Always super helpful and it’s clear he dedicates a ton of his own time to sharing his wealth of knowledge with the next generation.
I commend you Josh. I'm traditional hunting and have been for 6 years. You'll have a blast because they need to be close. Except the challenge. Success is rewarding
His spots are hard to get too. How does he not sweat while doing his "speed scouts" in early Sept ???? A ScentLoc suit is worthless if your sweating . His tactics are NOT unique at all. Its the same BASIC tactics discussed in hunting magazines 30 + years ago. Never gets winded ,, yeah right. I dont trust him.
Josh I love these. It’s real life man! I’m 39 with 3 kids, youngest is turning 10 on Tuesday. I’d love to chit chat sometime with you and share some experiences with you on raising kids in the outdoors. More or less on what I’ve learned.
Look at testosterone levels of 20 year olds. They have test levels of men in their 60-70s now. Forever chemicals or pfas are in everything we consume. It’s even in your drinking water. Ditch the almond milk. You should be able to drink raw milk even being lactose intolerant.
Crappie and other fish will begin to disappear. This resource can’t handle people limiting out every single day. You can find crappie fishermen limiting out 200 days a year just to give half of them away. They are locating bass that hide out in the middle of lakes and suspend. Dragging them up from depths where they were not found in the past. Many can’t survive being brought up 20-40 feet. Everyone needs to wake the heck up
Hi Josh! Haven’t had a chance to watch the episode yet but wanted to chime in on the previous comment on commercials. I don’t have a paid RU-vid sub so when your live starts, I get RU-vid ads. I only see the stealth strip ad. Maybe a delay of some sort, at the start, will put your sponsors in front of eyes like mine, and likely others with similar RU-vid accounts.
Thanks man I appreciate that. Most people want everything for free and expect me to do all this for nothing at all. I appreciate your helpful feedback man instead of just complaining that there is an add.
I wonder why the bad comments on John’s show. I thought you 2 did great. I think you are going to like that Guthrie center area. My heads still spinning from hunting there. From what I saw in Iowa all you need is November and a ditch. Maybe a tree? Maybe wind correct? Almost not joking.
