This game looks great, can't wait to see the final version. Can I just say, please add more survival mechanics. Running is fun to a point. Sooo just anything, a reason to survive or an impossibly far destonation to make it too. I love this, I love the movie and I want to see this succeed the way it's meant too. Good luck my friend!
Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! When you're having fun doing nothing but enjoying the atmosphere,,, standing, hiding, running, watching,, everything else you add is icing on the cake!! All the people are good!! If overtime you could make this virtual world like Red Dead Redemption were you interact with everything and people and still have the Martians to deal with,, lol it could be the greatest game ever created!! Cars, guns, maybe a storyline, food, shower lol you've already got a game just being dropped off in this unbelievable fantasy!! 🤘✌🤘
I know the game needs to be worked on just as a regular version first, but please PLEASE make this a VR game for the quest or just any headset in the future, just to imagine running away as you see the tripods literally towering over you, hoping to not be vaporized or found, it just seems absolutely terrifying……and incredibly awesome, Devs, you’re doing a great job and I hope you see this comment. The tripods should have more weapons other than the electric lazers once you seen more than 15 minutes the novelty wears off all you do is hide I get that's the point seems kinda boring
Needs more NPCs and groups of NPCs of varying age to reflect families trying to stay together like what would happen in real life 🤷🏻 but I CANT WAIT to play it
I don't know if it's possible, but for completion sake, it would be cool if you could also add the possibility to select the Martian Machines from the 1953 film as well. Those things were tripods too, but they walked on "energy legs" (because they tried animating tripods and it didn't look as realistic as they wanted it.). You could kind of see the energy legs when they got hit with weapons, and you could see the ground burst into flame where the energy legs touched the ground underneath them. I always loved the design of those machines. And the sounds they made are damn iconic and scary.
What differences does the Uberpod have with respect to the traditional tripod? Maybe the Uberpod will see you from further away or something like that?🤔
I don't care what anyone says but I LOVED this movie and version of War of the Worlds, the tripods are terrifying, the way they vaporized everyone and took over. It would be awesome to see it from a military perspective too. Any story you can change or add that was implied in the movie, would be AMAZING. I will 100% purchase this game, keep at it!
игра зашибенная, но добавить бы по больше людей в города, поезда,корабли и тп И если персонаж умрет то нужно будет создать нового персонажа с возможностью выбирания характеристик(выносливость,мастер вождения,мастер оружия и тп) или внешнего вида. Возможность вступить в ряды сопротивления или сразу появляться на военной базе Чтоб были вандалы,убийцы,мародеры И при возможности добавить кооператив для игры с друзьями. На этом я все, удачи в разработке (необязательно это выполнять, просто было бы не плохо увидеть это в игре.) У этой игры будет большой спрос, в первые полгода я бы поставил ценник в 2000 тысячи рублей или в 22 доллара
The only element that might be in question is the look of the tripods. If they look too much like a previous work. Otherwise the entire story is public domain.
I think it would be awesome if you had like 100 players running away and trying to surviving during the tripods onslaught. Basically battle royale based on survival, last one to survive wins. Maybe the winners of previous matches gets to be in the tripod.

Still feels weird to me that there isn’t a way for a team of humans to stop the tripods but you can play a tripod and kill humans. Awesome looking effort, though. Just might not be for me.
On God, I cant wait to buy & play this game! As someone who has grown bored of most games that use to bring me joy, I've been waiting on this exact concept based on this movie since I was a kid. You're literally bringing my childhood dream game to life. I knkw youre doing it for everyone, but voy do i feel blessed! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this new clip & seeing your amazibg progress so far! Super excited to finally play this game when its ready! I'll easily put hundreds of hours into this game 🤣
It's about time this got made, when I first saw the movie, I thought how cool it would be if this was a game. Now imagine if this game was made in unreal engine 5 with lumen and chaos destruction geometry
