Haha!! I did a live with Andrew from Loving Life Mallorca the other day on his show the other fay. I must try to share the link somewhere. I have not watched it back. We walked around Can Picafort at sunset.vi have never done a live before.
We ended up settling in on Totnes for our visit to South Devon next month, and going by your video, it wasn't a bad idea! Looking forward to exploring the town. Thank you! 😊
The steam train was so awesome! That was a great area to watch it go by with that bridge, but it sure didn't slow down! Those moths remind me of the Police Car Moths that we have in open fields around here except ours are black and white. Very cool sighting. I enjoyed seeing this area - it was lovely. It was a bit odd to see the steam engine at the back. Hope you're having a great week, Louise!
Thank you Donna!! Lovely comment! Love that name you have for similar moths - ‘Police Car Moths’! Yes, it did look quite unusual seeing the steam engine at the back. I think they had signal problems and been unable to get it to the front. Unfortunately that is what made it an hour late. I am having a really nice week thank you!
Such a delightful video Louise. I so enjoyed watching the steam train blasting through. So exciting! The Salty Dog is so cool with the free cake 🍰 nice incentive! A lovely coastal walk with beach in between. Just perfect! 😊
Thank you Amanda! I enjoyed watching the stream train too! I was so pleased to find it was going through that day! Yes, the Salty dog really is cool. It’s in such a perfect location too!
Great video. I don't comment much but I do watch every video you do and they are really looking more professional. I also like the thumbnail of your recent videos , like a postcard. I think that will bring more views in 🙂 I like how simple your vids are too.
Thank you Cathy! I think they did!! They survived in my backpack without cracking and were really very delicious! I had some in an omelette that evening!
What a brilliant walk, the views were amazing. You really punished yourself with the steep slopes & steps. Hope your chips weren't stolen by the seagulls.
Haha! Thanks Faith!! They did not get a look in! Except for when I filmed, they were tightly under wraps with me just pulling out one at a time! Yes, those steps and slopes were sooo steep. Next week’s walk is alot flatter. I was grateful as I filmed it a couple of days later! I filmed a very watery walk this morning too!
Nice informative video. I actually live in the Redruth area, but I get down to walk from Penzance to Newlyn regularly. Newlyn is my favourite place to be❤️
Hi Louise, another great video. What fabulous weather. We are getting some summer at last. Really enjoyed watching. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thank you Dave and Dawn! It’s so nice to see summer! ☀️☀️ I am having a very relaxing weekend thank you! Made a bit of a different video while out and about today.
Hello Louise. I've always liked the Dawlish area, having spent several holidays in that area many moons ago. Well done for filming the steam train going towards Plymouth. You picked a good vantage point for that. Unfortunately, they never look as good when they are being dragged backwards. I doubt if there is any possibility of turning an engine anywhere in that area. But I do like a lady who appreciates trains, especially one who will spend two hours waiting. How did you get back. Is there a station at Teignmouth? Take care of yourself xx
Ah! Thank you! I heard later that it was due to a signalling problem that the engine could not go at the front on the way back and that was also the cause of the hour’s delay. Yes, there’s a station at Teignmouth. I had quite a late night as I stayed watching the sunset for ages 🤣
Good morning Louise, great video, to capture the Sir Nigel Gresley steam engine must have been very exciting. The black and red moth is the Cinnabar moth. Keep the videos coming, looking forward to next weeks adventure already, John.
Thank you John! Yes! There was a real sense of anticipation and excitement waiting for the Sir Nigel Gresley engine to pass! Thanks so much for watching and for identifying the moths! Much appreciated!
Wow! You had a wonderful viewpoint from the footbridge of the steam train (Sir Nigel Gresley) Louise! And the other bridge filming the GWR IET entering Kennaway Tunnel. Well done for supporting local independent businesses. I think those big construction vehicles were working on the railway - shoring up the embankments from sea erosion. Such a lovely and very relaxing walk - really enjoyed 'walking' with you. Glad the Salty Dog Cafe (with free cake!) is still there. I admired your tenacity waiting for the steam train again on its return run! All in all a fab view! Oh, and thanks for mentioning your Facebook Group - I am filming today - it was a reminder to mention mine again too! Brilliant! Paul
Thank you Paul! So much useful information in that lovely comment. Really pleased you enjoyed this really relaxing walk and all the scenery along the way! The Salty Dog is a real treat on getting to that point of the walk. 🐶
Hi Louise. Another fantastic video. I live in Newton Abbot, just up river from Teignmouth so visit regularly. I also have a real passion for the South West Coast path. I can highly recommend your intended walk from Teignmouth to Babbacombe. It certainly gets the heart pumping!! The construction works just outside Dawlish are an extension to one of the railway tunnels to prevent rock fall on the tracks. It has been going on for some time now and you can see it from the sea wall at Dawlish. Look forwatd to the next video
Thanks so much Richard - that’s really helpful information! Really appreciate you taking the time to share that. Ooo.. I like the sound of the Teignmouth to Babbacombe section. It will be nice to join it up as I have walked to Torquay town from Babbacombe last year.
Good morning Louise firstly I was in Dawlish myself that day it’s a wonder I never saw you especially as you are now famous😆, I would have loved to have brought you a coffee😁now back to business and it’s your first classic of the day, it’s very humid today can you tell by how things are looking in the pictures😂😂😂honestly Louise that is truly hilarious😂😂😂😂in regards the train I just knew it was going to be late😂😂, sorry I should not laugh but it just makes your videos better👍The thing is you have no idea how funny you are and I mean that in a good way😁👍roll on next Sunday👋
Ah! It’s a shame I missed you! That’s such a kind thought about the coffee. Haha!! I can almost predict now the things that I say accidentally etc that will raise a smile! I love that i make people smile! I made a very different video this morning away from the South West. There are some quite comical moments in that! I imagine I will probably put that one out in a few weeks time as next week’s is already edited and scheduled.
@@SouthWestSundays well Louise whenever you are next in Paignton I am taking you to my regular coffee shop to buy you one! 👍I can then tell everyone I know a famous you tuber😂
Thank you so much for the coffee gift you sent on Buy Me A Coffee! I am not at home and don’t have my log in details to thank you on there, so here is the only place I can thank you! That’s so kind and much appreciated!
Good morning. Just back from my early morning walk- and I got rained on! Unexpected bonus on this sticky warm morning. What an unusual pathway along the tracks and water on the other side. Lovely. Just in time for the train..wow. Just love how you can watch the trains 'from above. Great shot of the bee on that thistle. Absolutely gorgeous walk- Love the 'soldiers' as we call them - the red bugs on the plant. Lots of ups and downs- a great work out. The bench seat would be most welcome and often used I'm sure. Commenting as I watch...just such a lovely walk.Indeed very green and 'rain-foresty".You deserved that drink and snack. Ever since I read the book The Salt Path by Raynor Winn I've been intrigued by the coast path. Loving the trains. Stunning view @12:35. A great reward- chips! Yum. I found your channel a while ago. A great find. Glad I saw this video come online this morning. Most enjoyable watch. Thank you. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Ah! Brilliant!! It’s so lovely there!! I hope you enjoy it! I have just subscribed to your channel too. I look forward to watching sone of your videos in due course 🤗
Looks like a great hike to go on, Louise and some fantastic scenery along the way. Tenting is enjoyable and changes things when you don't have to rush home for the night. I enjoyed seeing your journey and hearing the info about the places.
That would have been quite a tough walk without a backpack, so many steps. So glad you went into that church, those beams were beautiful. Seagulls are so sneaky & fearless, don't let it put you off having ice cream!
Oh, Louise. That looked like a really tough walk. So when it rains, you have to get yourself a cream tea and when the sun is shining, you have an ice cream, which you fed to a seagull. I'm sure there is a byelaw which says "Don't feed the gulls". Joking aside, thanks for taking us along with you xx
Oh Louise I always watch and I hope for my comedy gold moments and you never fail to deliver....Firstly the Church and I would have bet anything you would have had trouble finding the side entrance and guess what you had trouble finding it, brilliant😂😂😂....Then we move on to your review of your waterproof pouch and your expert analysis of the sticky substance that seals it😂😂😂...and just when I think we have had our treat for the day the ending of the video arrives and needless to say that was without doubt one of your best comedy moments to date, world class is all I can say🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you deserve 100000 subs. Sundays would not be the same without your videos👍
