You would think there would be a lot more gears of war appreciation and references in Fortnite, but it’s only the skins. That said at least we got skins. Other franchises I wanted to see more of are infinity blade and unreal tournament. We only got that little event for infinity blade and literally nothing from unreal
Dom: Marcus I dont know what to do? I dunno what to do man? Marcus: Dom its ok Hits me everytime, even the look that Dom gives Marcus as he's holding Maria is just done brilliantly, this was Gears at its peak.
Idk why, but it just feels so fitting for the villain of the big manly war shooter to be a woman. Like the majority of gameplay os bulky hypermasculine men of war who rip and tear and kill. Yet the one person behind it all was a woman. It's just such a nice twist to it all. It's a really cool subversion that results in probably one of the greatest female antagonists in gaming.
Fun fact when he tried saving his dad he took a thing that helps the hammer of dawn target correctly so Marcus got alot of people killed and lost a city being over run by locust
I just want to remind people RAAM was basiclly an after thought just so the dev could give the game a final boss battle. that being said he is a fucking badass and either a legend or a nightmare on the battle field depending on which side your on.
Don't let him cook 💀 Best to worst: 1. Gears 2 2. Gears 3 3. Gears 5 4. Gears 1 5. Gears 4 6. Gears Judgement Gears 2 and 3 are equal in my opinion, but we need a first place
I wish we could get a eday series or movie but I dont trust these studios at all so Im perfectly fine with the game that will be coming out in 2026 im looking foward to it cant lie I grew up on Gears of War so being 32 and seeing that trailer bought back so many memories especially breaking day on school nights 😂😂 niggas was brave for this shit
I wouldn't mind a future Gears of War game set in the UIR during the Locust war and playing as the Indies, Maybe Paduk is who you'll play as? And also it will show us how brutal the Locust and General Karn was to the UIR people. It will 1: let fans finally see and understand what was going on with the UIR side during the war because there been 0 show of it through the Gears of war series and 2: give Karn more popularity due to him only appearing in Judgment which is a very judged game (which I don't agree with, I say Judgment is a good game, I don't get the hate towards it). Also I think it would be neat if just for this game alone, it will be called "Indies of War" instead of "Gears of War" due to being set in the UIR instead of the COG, I know they wouldn't do that but just saying.
Gears of War collection should appear first - as your second theory stipulates. Playing E-Day first, then the trilogy won't have the same tragic impact as playing the trilogy first. That's the whole reason OGs are back to E-Day - they played the trilogy first.
Ever since the very first gears after leaving the prison just walking through the first city before we even lost the first carmine I always wanted to see more of the world of sera. The buildings and style of the world always excites me as a child and I always wanted to see more. And while at this point I just wanted any kind of gears game, even a side story like judgement to tide over until next main line game would have done nothing has made me happier knowing I may get to see the world of sera I wanted to as a child in this prequel. Getting to see the beautiful architecture of the world and how it fell to ruin. And just seeing how brutal the drones are makes me so excited to see how they beef up the larger locusts. Boomers are going to be scary enough, berserkers… oh lawd… and corpsers… how are we going to deal with all these when we can barely handle drones due to the mk1 limitations, pre chainsaw… ah it’s all so exciting!
