Why the hill don’t they properly train these guys? I’ve worked construction most of my life and they just get someone anyone who says they can operate it and soo they let him see if he can .. I mean I’ve seen some guys just run rampant and then they screw up ..

Doing some layout work I told the one who have the most experience and time in the shop (20plus years) and gotten all this praise on how good he was to measure the distance between the opening. He came back with something like 32 and a half and three of these. I asked what are three of these? It’s 32 11/16. I took them all aside and asked them their tape measure reading skills and reading and using calipers and micrometers cause there are motors and shafts we need to work on. Pretty shocking
