Hey! INATEL Flores Hotel - but we didn't like it - the staff was rude. They even mixed up room keys. We were in our room, chilling naked in bed, and apparently, someone else opened the entrance door and entered our room. We were shocked to find another couple entering (them also). We went to the reception, and the reaction was - oops, sorry. So if you gonna find other option on booking - do it :)

This was a great video. I live in Switzerland and tour on my bike quite a lot. I admire that you continued to record the moments that you were tired and unmotivated. There are so many rewards to this type of travel, but there are times when you feel that you have had enough. Congrats on your accomplishment and I hope you have a desire to continue to bike tour.

I have to disagree with your terms for metro lines. We have 5 KRL Lines, 1 MRT line, 3 LRT lines, so all of them are effectively formed as integrated Commuter lines based on electric trains that are metro equivalent. On top of that there are 14 BRT lines but all of these these are not enough to catch up the rapid growth of urbanisation. Hence it is already the second largest Metropole in the world and there is urgent need to move the capital.
@@artpreo.travel a little too late, but its better late than never. The only city which proposes 70+ percent mobility by walking and public transport with the rest are on EV. This is a goal that is more ambitious than singapore.

Not only Jakarta even in Paris crime rate are very high, my sister bag was robbed in Eiffel area. Her pasport, cell phone, money etc lose. And also in US crime rate more dangerous. Jakarta more save than any big city.
Jakarta have the longest bus line in the world 250 km, also we have 500km Electric train also jakarta have MRT and LRT, most of foreigner doesnt even know how to ride coz its cashless. Jakarta just overcrowded and not design well for a big city. So in 2024 we changed our capital to new capital that well design and become role model for cites in indonesia.
@@artpreo.travel well, its a big project that cost 34B and take a long time to finish, jakarta have a lot of problems even if we fix it jakarta it will cost a lot more than build new capital, people in jakarta mostly come from other region in indonesia, the goverment want to relocate them but they dont want to be relocate to apartment etc and they build illegal building that they dont even own, its such a big problem in jakarta but recently a lot of new brand city in jakarta like PIK 2 that well design. New capital city located in borne islands, indonesia planed to change capital city since 60s but due to unstable economic that planned never happens and in 2019 that plans become real and in 2022 they begin the construction of the new capital city and phase 1 will be completed in 2024 nad it estimated completed in 2045, the new capital city will be eco friendly, no motorcycle allowed there and the goverment plans zero emissions there. It such a good opportunity for indonesia also make indonesia economy center not just in java also to the other islands, btw i lived in bangka belitung islands if u have time just come to belitung islanda its such a beautiful islands and visit our unesco global geopark in belitung.
You can compare with other countries which countries give you the good hospitality beside Indonesia? And if you talk about the bad thing such as criminalities in Indonesia, you also can compare with other countries, some of them what i've head the criminal are worst than indonesia.

Jakarta commuter Line 418km mrt 17 km and there is 13 km undercontruction and lrt greater Jakarta 44 km, lrt jakarta 6km and 6 km is undercontraction BRT jakarta 251km it's longest BRT in the world but yeah Indonesia need condom to increase gdp percapita 😂

Correction to your statement about Jakarta public transport infrastructure, Jakarta have 5 Commuter train line, 1 MRT line, 3 LRT line and the biggest BRT line in south east Asia. They are also intercity train and High speed train. And I've been on New York and try New York subway, and New York subway in my opinion is probably the most dirtiest public transport I ever see compared to any train I take in Jakarta or any other public transport infrastructure like Singapore, Japan, and China right now. So if you say new York subway is far more superior to Jakarta commuter and MRT, I will say otherwise.
Well, it’s not about cleanness, it’s about commuting in the city. So I don’t care how clean it is, I care about get from point A to point B. And in Jakarta was deficit for us commute with metro compare to mentioned cities 🏙️
@@artpreo.travel yeah I already mentioned and letting you know that Jakarta actually have public transport, and like i said at the previous comments, Jakarta have 5 line of Commuter train connecting basically all part of Jakarta and neighboring city, Jakarta have 1 MRT line connecting inner Jakarta to the south west of Jakarta, Jakarta have 3 line of LRT, and Jakarta have BRT and Metro Bus that basically go everywhere on Jakarta. That's the Jakarta public transport that Jakarta have for commuting daily and that is outside of intercity train, intercity bus and High speed train than also present at Jakarta, then after that i give my opinion about the difference and why I disagree about New York city is better than what Jakarta have. So what you say public transport that connecting points A to Point B I already answered that at previous comments

It's disheartening to see that Jakarta hasn't improved much when compared to the capital cities of our neighboring countries-Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and even Phnom Penh. Jakarta seems to be the least enticing. Perhaps this is one reason why we don't attract many tourists. It could be due to locals eagerly taking pictures with foreigners simply because they are white, reflecting an inferiority complex. Our capital lacks proper sidewalks, integrated public transport, and parks throughout the city. Despite almost 20 years since my last visit, it seems that not much has changed, except for the introduction of the MRT. I hope that our new capital (NUSANTARA) will be more walkable and tourist-friendly. I truly wish that our next generation can stop taking pictures with these common white folks just because they are white. It really shows our inferiority syndrome. 😥
