Indonesia sekarang ini selangkah lebih maju di kawasan Asia . Dulu tahun 80,90,2000 ya Indonesia sangat tertinggal jauh dengan negara ASEAN lainnya. Tapi sekarang jaman sudah berubah Indonesia bangkit dari tidur panjang. Saat ini Indonesia adalah top size economi in southeast. Sekalipun Singapore, malaysia, thailand, Vietnam di gabung jadi satu belum bisa mengalahkan economi Indonesia. Itu fakta.now jakarta city is central Business in southeast, population 13 milion people. The never sleep city, the busyest in southeast.

Well, it’s not about cleanness, it’s about commuting in the city. So I don’t care how clean it is, I care about get from point A to point B. And in Jakarta was deficit for us commute with metro compare to mentioned cities 🏙️

@@artpreo.travel yeah I already mentioned and letting you know that Jakarta actually have public transport, and like i said at the previous comments, Jakarta have 5 line of Commuter train connecting basically all part of Jakarta and neighboring city, Jakarta have 1 MRT line connecting inner Jakarta to the south west of Jakarta, Jakarta have 3 line of LRT, and Jakarta have BRT and Metro Bus that basically go everywhere on Jakarta. That's the Jakarta public transport that Jakarta have for commuting daily and that is outside of intercity train, intercity bus and High speed train than also present at Jakarta, then after that i give my opinion about the difference and why I disagree about New York city is better than what Jakarta have. So what you say public transport that connecting points A to Point B I already answered that at previous comments

I am working on my next episode which is East Java- volcanoes 🌋 Malang and of course Surabaya. So yeah, there is of them, but something tells me that GDP per capita not different much more from rest of Indonesia 🇮🇩

Yes i mean i'm just saying... Every country has a poor one and has the rich one. In Jakarta especially the menteng area is goverment elite area. For surabaya the most wealthy one lives there. Yes the country's GDP is low. But i just want to say the gaps between the rich and the poor one are really big in Indonesia. The rich ones are super rich and the poor ones are indeed really poor. And Surabaya's wealthy people most of them are the owners of really big companies in Indonesia or/and overseas... And i think most of them are Chinese Indonesian so i think some of them even have business in China. And yes if you compare with your GDP we will not win. But the wealthy in Indonesia even consider it very wealthy in western countries and our living costs are low compared to your country so you can imagine how wealthy they are. I just say even if our country's GDP is low... But our wealthy people are extremely wealthy. And with developing countries like us, we still can grow. And the opportunity is really big compared to developed countries like your country. And I'm not saying our GDP is different. Because you say yogyakarta are rich in art, I give you the information that Surabaya is the city of wealthy people. Most of the wealthy people in Indonesia live there. Perhaps because English is not my native language indeed, you can't understand what i really mean. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ i just give you fun fact tho... Not correcting about GDP. And even if GDP is not different, the regional income is indeed different per province. For example Java and Papua have different regional incomes and the cost of living and the standard of salary also different every city. So yeah i know enough and very well about my own Country... 🙄🙄🙄 and i give you this fun fact because it's very famous in Indonesia. And we call them (the wealthy people in Surabaya) Sultan Surabaya and Crazy Rich Surabaya.

Well, I guess you right, but not everything is cheap - some things it is even more expensive then in Europe, for example electrics. Another paradox- why so many Javaniese and Baliese leave in slums? Do they enjoy this way of living?

@@artpreo.travel Perhaps because you only visited slums and never went to typical residential areas. With Google Street View, randomly check residential areas on both islands, you are far more likely to find decent housing, instead of shanty housing.

@@intriguingfacts5434yeah maybe you are right, it’s happened accidentally to me that slums appeared in each city - funny that it’s not happened to me in non city in Europe. Maybe I don’t know something about Java and Bali, probably it’s another Switzerland in Asia ☀️

@@artpreo.travel I've seen a documentary of a lonely elderly Brit who received 800 pounds monthly from the government and lived miserably in a small flat. My earning is lower than that, but I have a house and car. Poverty is a rising issue in Europe with high living costs. In South East Asia, a family can have a decent life with that amount of money. These countries are not Switzerlands of Asia, but you can't say they are poor because of the low GDP per capita.

talk about 800 pounds - well I am not sure if this documentary gives you right info - because minimal salary in the UK is above £1000 - in London, it’s even around 2000 - and it’s only minimum wage. But back to the topic, I also agree with you in the way, that: If people can afford food, accommodation, basic needs - yeah, you definitely right. But what I say in this video it’s comes from personal experience, dirty streets, a lot of slums, huge nr of homeless people and etc. (In Europe we don’t have this - if we do it is specific districts, but not in the city centres) so thank you for commenting, gdp was not the best option measure level of living in Indonesia.

@@artpreo.travel a little too late, but its better late than never. The only city which proposes 70+ percent mobility by walking and public transport with the rest are on EV. This is a goal that is more ambitious than singapore.

@@artpreo.travel well, its a big project that cost 34B and take a long time to finish, jakarta have a lot of problems even if we fix it jakarta it will cost a lot more than build new capital, people in jakarta mostly come from other region in indonesia, the goverment want to relocate them but they dont want to be relocate to apartment etc and they build illegal building that they dont even own, its such a big problem in jakarta but recently a lot of new brand city in jakarta like PIK 2 that well design. New capital city located in borne islands, indonesia planed to change capital city since 60s but due to unstable economic that planned never happens and in 2019 that plans become real and in 2022 they begin the construction of the new capital city and phase 1 will be completed in 2024 nad it estimated completed in 2045, the new capital city will be eco friendly, no motorcycle allowed there and the goverment plans zero emissions there. It such a good opportunity for indonesia also make indonesia economy center not just in java also to the other islands, btw i lived in bangka belitung islands if u have time just come to belitung islanda its such a beautiful islands and visit our unesco global geopark in belitung.
