Sizes matter in the snake eating world. Blue Maylayan Coral Snakes preys on juvenile King Cobras in Asia. A large Cottonmouth would have no problem eating a smaller King Cobra and vice versa.

I was born in Tennessee cottonmouths non aggressive, been to NC and not aggressive,been or Orlando Florida renting swamp boat, one was picked up with tongs and tossed in swamp it came back to shore and was mad as Hell! Didn't chase but followed, now lugoff SC is different, they will chase your ass !!
Cottonmouth Akistrodon pisivorous is a pitviper who lays and ambush prey they don't chase humans but do eat fish they are curious snakes and will approach fishermen because of the smell of the fish. Hello from the Great Dismal swamp in NC .
