Mike Tyson Physical build was non human, as close to superhero strength as you'll ever see in boxing. Holmes controlled the fight and couldnt maintain it due to Tyson's speed and power that he's never seen.
And who is supposed to beat up the fighting commission because of their irresponsibility of having a fighter who have dementia and is Punch-Drunk from being used like the stoker in the black movement
Man, it goes to show just how much HBO is missed after all this time and gems like Larry Merchant commentary on Butlers past, " if you'll pardon the expression, only thing I can see Butler doing is getting crack'd " . 😆 Great double and fights weren't bad either.
"Second to nunn" what a fighter really reminded me of a middleweight Chris bird, both extremely classy boxers. James Toney is my favourite fighter his win over nunn is still extremely impressive, nobody did that to Michael nunn
Was good to see mike punch Holmes out revenge for the greatest Mohomid Ali, Holmes in my eyes is the most unhonorable fighter he might have been good likre rest but he had no respect.😮
This is the fight when Tyson started going down hill. Rushing straight in. No lateral movement. No bobbing and weaving. No jab to set up his power shots. I can only imagine what Cus would've thought as he witnessed Tyson hugging Don King after the fight. No Kevin Rooney in his corner.
Watched it live at 15 years old…I love Jim’s comment ‘So some of the old power was still there after all!’ Still there indeed. Moorer needed to watch some Karate Kid. Miyagi said ‘Best way to block punch, no be there.’
