After watching this I ordered all of these. I was lucky enough to find them all at retail price. Some at GameStop some at Best Buy in the past two days. With the exception of sígnalis. That one got it at Mercari for $70 😼
Slave zero has no chance being expensive or sought after, because the version on cart is buggy mess. Meaning that if you got it one day without the patches, it's practically useless.
@@90shandheldgamer ofc it would as resellers are very active and try this on every game with lower prints. But as I said, the version on cart is useless, it's gonna drop down in value in a while.
I have two. The second one was unplanned. Both are OEM AGS 101 internally but the first one was reshelled partially using OEM NES GBA SP internals and one of the shell pieces was combined to the reshell. The second one is a rare graphite iQue SP that was available only for the Chinese markets and that had separate limited editions exclusive to that market. Internally both systems are the same with a slight change of color of internal cartridge slot being white whereas globally it was black and the battery was the usual 600mah but with iQue stickers stating the exact production date of the battery. All GBA sps are great although not a fan of the ips modded ones.
Half of those games are very common in my area( central valley to northern california). I work at a Gamestop. My store always seems to get new copies of Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 for mutuple consoles including the Switch version. Somebody always trades in a copy of Dragonquest 11 for the Switch. I would say the Switch version is more common than the PS4 version that has the Switch exclusive content. Shin Megami Tensei Vengence is very common in my area as well. My store always gets new copies. Right now its on sale for 39.99. Its a little to early to speculate on the rarity of this game since it is still relatively new.

@@90shandheldgamer Thats the thing with speculating on value. It requires research and not just saying a game could be rare or not. Now the first few games are pretty uncommon and rare. So you are right about those. But the ones I list here that you covered are not, For example DragonQuest 11 for the Switch used is kinda pricey for its age. Its a 5 yr old game. It should have of gone up in value but it hasnt . It has remained steady. It is being sold for 39.99 used. But it is pretty common. Not only that there is 2 PS4 versions of the game. A games rarity is based on supply and demand. Now Switch collectors may want the Switch version and pay extra or more than what they should for a game thats cheaper on the PS4. Red Dead Redemption games is like a decade old game and its on multiple platforms. And most versions of the game used go for $20 to $40. Even though you can buy it new at Gamestop between $20 to $30 when it goes on sale. These games have a high print run. So its market value is not based on rarity.Its based on popularity of the games. These games will never be rare or expensive. A little pricey( $30 to $50) but not expensive ($50 and higher) Shin Megami Tensei Vengence is a re mastered version of an already released game. You can buy the vanilla version of the game for $20 used at my store. Vengence is still pretty common and easy to find.So its still to early to spec on its value. Its also on the PS5. So that kills its rarity as well. Thats not to say the Switch version of the game wont retain or hold its value. But for now( 3 or 4 months after the games release) this game is easily found and available. Its all speculation just to speculate. Which can be fun. But the secondary market and retail for video games is very fickle. A game could be hot and expensive for a few months then drop in value. Or a no name game that was considered trash for over a decade could suddenly go for $80 due to FOMO on the secondary market ( Wet for the Xbox 360) lol.
Big shoutout to my wife for buying Mario and Sonic Tokyo Olympics on physical for the family to play together. I also have both the SMT V vanilla and Vengeance steel book editions that I'll be getting to as soon as possible. Also, Gamestop is on my naughty list right now for chopping Game Informer but I did visit an epic Gamestop in Roanoke, VA (random I know) and the store itself was absolutely massive. They told me that their store was like the 6th largest store in the US I think. Fantastic selection of physical Switch games if anyone is in that area or driving through on I-81.

Yea when I saw it at GameStop I couldn't pass it up. I went in there to get cheap PS3 games and ended up spending more than I planned haha. Wow that's crazy how fast they scalped it over there. They're selling it a bit above retail here online but, not that bad. I thought if I didn't pre-order it would be gone but, stores still have it on shelves here.
@@90shandheldgamer Hahaha, that's the risk of going to gaming stores. As for why the game is more expensive here: it's a My Nintendo Store exclusive. Regular stores couldn't stock it. Combine that with limited stock, and you've got a recipe for disaster
I pre-ordered the championships game but didn't know the version I ordered would come with stuff I was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up from GameStop, though I guess it was just one edition and I just didn't pay attention. I really enjoyed Mario and Sonic at the Olympics and was looking forward to a 2024 version, they really had something special and now it's dead. 😢

Our of all those games you listed, I only have one. It's Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Still a shame that we didn't get a Mario and Sonic at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
Just picked up Signalis prices are starting to get ridiculous in the UK and sold out everywhere, I also kept pasing up on it and had to go the eBay route before it gets harder to find. I made sure I got the first print run though, as they come with that cool holographic Polaroid picture
I got mine earlier this year for the $20-$30 on Amazon. I can't believe how much it has gone up since then. I think mine is a second print sadly it didn't come with the photo but it was 110% sealed.

Regardless of what print it's still crazy prices....I literally saw them being sold for £30 a couple weeks ago and now they've shot up £60-£80, always had it on my radar but didn't pull the trigger when I should have (story of my life lol). But I think this will continue to sky rocket in price as it's a nod towards the OG resident evil games but in a pixel style (chef's kiss in my opinion)
