Missed out on the original SMT5 since I didn't have a switch but picked up Vengeance and wow it's so much fun and the battle music has been stuck in my head for DAYS!

SMT V Vengeance is my favorite game this year. I agree, the turn based combat is engaging. Fusing and customizing the perfect demons is as addicting as ever. Not to mention a killer soundtrack! This game is great for veterans and newcomers to the series.

It’s why I hate and love the shin megami tensei series. The battles can be tough and required actual thinking and paying attention. Can’t just spam attack or else you’ll die. Like you even need to have party members with buffs and debuffs. Can’t just have all offensive lol. I really need a Mario game 😂
It definitely was super tough. I do like the balancing better in Vengeance though where you can still beat enemies with good strategy even if you're a bit under leveled. It's still tough. I've been wiped by common enemies a few times.
Played the vanilla route of SMTVV in 20 hours on safety mode (already did that on SMTV so I won’t spend anymore hours). Currently playing the new route on normal mode.
Just got my copy of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance today! I beat Mario vs Donkey Kong last month, it was a great puzzle game. The later levels do get annoying at times. Super Mario Wonder is like this generation of super Mario world, such a great game.
Great picks, one and all. I just bought Mario Bros Wonder and am about to start it once I finish Mario RPG. :) Seeing as you enjoyed SMTV so much, I'd recommend Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. I just finished it and it's such an amazingly good game. I shouldn't have slept on it so long. It' combat system is similar to the SMT/Persona games but also different, so it has a unique and great battle system because of it. :)
How can you say that you wouldn't say Super Mario Wonder is better than SMB 3 and SMWorld but then go and say it is better than SMWorld. SMWorld is better than SMB3 by miles.
Very cool video!! And very accurate too! 😆🩵👍 I have recently delved into the depths of SMT V so I'm stoked to play Vengeance soon. Ys Origin (I played thia on the PS Vita) does have a pretty decent story though as it shows it was a precursor to Adol's time. The Claw, Yunica, Hugo and even Epona are my favourites. My most addictive Switch games are : ❤ Into the Breach (Minimalist Tactical genius mixed with Robo vs Kaiju action. Time really flies with this game) ❤ Fire Emblem Engage (Though 3 Houses was more memorable, Engage's pitched battles are much more replayable and fluid....and there's Sommie too) ❤ Brigandine Legend of Runersia (Gosh I love this games artwork....and 6 different campaigns to choose from. For me, it a literal time sink) ❤ Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana (Though this game can be finished quicker, you can't help but to stop and gawk at the beautiful scenery and landmarks in the Island of Seiren for much longer than necessary😅)

Also, another game I highly recommend to you that is also very addictive is a new release of a baseball video game series called Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 (Pawapuro 2024-2025) by Konami and it is the latest entry in the long running series that never got chance outside Japan. While it is in Japanese, the baseball gameplay segment of the game does not require any knowledge of Japanese in order to play. The series is known for its arcadey and simple, yet very addictive gameplay. But the reason why I want it in America it so I can play the success mode in English, a visual novel like mode that has the character named Power Pro Kun (though you can give him any name you want) in a high school setting aiming to be the best ballplayer and getting in the NPB (Japnese baseball) and you can also date and maybe even marry cute anime girls as well, which is the main reason why I love the success mode. But because its Japanese only, I recommend it mostly for its baseball gameplay. Please take this recommendation into account. You will have a great time with this game. @@PawapuroJRPGfan878 looks great! I do remember this series being on Wii I believe and I know there is one on Switch that was localized but, is digital only. I might download that one first to try it out. I heard it's only 99 cents.
@@90shandheldgamer You can if you want, but I have to warn you that it is a major downgrade from the main series and its very bare bones and lacks most the content that make Pawapuro Pawapuro, including the success mode. Have low expectations for this version of the game.
