Some more 2D's that I recommened and all have physicals - Gravity Circuit - Crash Bandicoot 4 - Sonic Mania - Super Alloy Ranger - Super Mario Maker 2 (Single player) - Klonoa 1+2 - Kaze & The Wild Masks - Yooka Laylee & The Impossivle Lair - Celeste
Congratulations on the 1,500+ subs dude, well deserved! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've got cooking. You picked out two of my favorites in your list, being New Super Lucky's Tale and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I wish more people played Lucky's Tale, because as you said, it can truly compete with the best of the best!
Kirby and the forgotten land was my first ever kirby game and was blown away I ended up getting all the 3ds games afterwards. Also check out Yooka Laylee and the impossible lair if you haven't it's very much like donkey kong.
Glad you mentioned Super Lucky Tale, it's right up there with the CLASSICS of the genre... Odyssey is still king though... It's just so much fun trying trick jumps and shortcuts!
Mario Odyssey is probably the best Mario/plat-former game ever made. They used what Kojima did in Metal Gear Solid 4. Took you back to the old style graphics… Odyssey took the Mario game to another level, making it feel new and bringing back the nostalgia for the old timers who played it. Much respect man!
Celeste is on another level for me. It’s adorable and emotional while absolutely tough as nails and rewarding. The fact you respawn so quickly takes away any of the stress of dying over and over and over. The music is amazing and is a rare game soundtrack I listen to on Spotify.
As of this video my favorite platform game is Monster Boy and the Cursed kingdom. There's so many I haven't played yet including some you showed off here that my favorite could change at anytime. Thanks for sharing these 10, there's a few I never heard of and several I haven't played
Nice video! A few more platformers worth mentioning or trying if you haven't. Yooka-Laylee, Crash, Spyro, Rayman, Sonic are all other obvious choices, but if you haven't tried it try Kaze and the Wild Mask, I think it's very underrated.
@@90shandheldgamer I didnt know it got any hate at all! I love the wii one the most though. 😹 my sister and I would always be in a contest to pick up and throw the other into lava or off an edge, or 'go into a bubble' lolol
After watching this video I had to order Super Mario 3D world / Bowsers Fury. I've been wanting it for a long time but you inspired me to pull the trigger right now 💥💥💥
@@90shandheldgamer absolutely,I had so many moments playing it with my brother where we would celebrate after completing some of those levels, they could be pretty intense sometimes! I also sometimes did not look forward to the jump jump levels because I am rhythmically challenged. 😅 I loved the creativity of the levels and the transformations being used in fun and unique ways
Amazing list man! Tropical Freeze and Bowser's Fury are my personal favourites, and I'm really hoping the next 3D Mario incorporates the Bowser's Fury open-world nature!
Just found your channel and I couldn’t agree more with your choices but my fav platforms has to be 3D Mario wold . I finished it in two weeks I was so hooked from day one . Haven’t played a game that long since .
Congrats on 1500! Those are 10 great platformers for Switch. Here are some more: Super Mario Odyssey, Rayman Legends Definitive Ed, Sonic Mania Plus, Yooka Laylee Impossible Lair, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, Owlboy, Disney Illusion Island, and Sonic Superstars.
-Kaze and the wild masks -Gravity circuit -Dust an elysian tale -Monster boy and the cursed kingdom -Wonder boy and the dragons trap Sorry I picked out a few, I could go on and on 😅 I've got so many in the collection. Congrats bro and hope this great channel continues to grow! 🎉
Congrats! By the way my speculation on signalis was correct. It shot up like crazy. Now I think omori will do the same, only best buy has it in stock at the moment.can wait for your next buy before rare. love donkey Kong country.
@@90shandheldgamer it's ok, I imported the European version for switch so I'm happy with that. I just wish BANDAI NAMCO would have published a North American version...
I'm conflicted on my answer for favorite platformer on switch. I love crash bandicoot on anything that it's available on. I can play Nsane trilogy anytime and have a good time. My pick for a sleeper hit is Hell Pie. I love the mechanics of the movement and momentum and the humor is surprisingly good.
@@joshspence6832 I've only played a bit of the Nsane triology so far but, it's definitely great. I've never heard of Hell Pie. I'll have to look into it.
@@90shandheldgamer it's definitely on the raunchier side, kind of an edgy game. So don't break it out in front of the kids lol. But the gameplay speaks for itself.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is my favorite. If we include Metroidvanias as platformers I'm going to pick Metroid Dread or even the new Prince of Persia game. Edit: My kids and I play Kirby Star Allies all the time and it's super fun.
