in the 1980 LONDON I was working at Tottenham reservoir fantastic fishery then suddenly fish stocks went down no deaths? fish were reproducing all females? they discovered it was due to birth control pill which was plastic based and mimicked female hormone? but being plastic never turn off and never broke down? and went into human reservoir water supply? it was on mainstream news at time? so they knew what was happening to us and nature but plastics manufacturing only got worse? "fact" Alex jones was a few decades late?
@RGflags The pressure is the danger. Thought the Titan Submarine would have proven that. Everything we can realistically encounter in Space has well-known and effective countermeasures, or at least a way to effectively deal with the problem. Even military grade Submarines need to return to the surface for regular maintenance and repair. Meanwhile, Voyager 1 has been in space for decades and is still functional.
@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim the titan submarine was controlled by dude in with a gaming controller aand was planned out horribly, military ssubs can be underwater for 4 months at a time with nuclear batteries that can lasst for decadespressure isnt the problem because we have litteraly been to the deepest part of the ocean many times so your just wrong. Also the firsst time a human went to the bottom was in 1960 and you think that we caant do it today?💀 btw my keyboards messed up so it double inputs letters sometimes
@RGflags Firsly, I never said we _couldn't_ go down that deep. But we don't _regularly_ go down that deep, but we can easily and regularly go to space. _And_ the people who went down in the 1960s very nearly suffered the same fate as the Titan Sub. Second, I'm not wrong. Nuclear Submarines can only go 300 meters down (That we are allowed to know of.) The average depth of the ocean is 3,682 meters. Nuclear Submarines stick around in the shallow levels of the ocean.
It’s easier, outer space is easier to study because it doesn’t have the same amount of pressure the sea does. The sea is difficult to study and very difficult to go deeper into because of the pressure Answer 2: politics, the moon landing is a political and world renown achievement and helped the United States in the Cold War showcase that the country is a powerhouse Answer 3: living and profit, outer space is more profitable because billionaires would spend their money to live on mars 1 day rather than to live in the dark depths of the ocean, any franchise that creates a hotel on another planet will have an infinite amount of opportunity for profit from the richest of the richest.
Greetings Dr.Tim. I recognized my question right at the beginning. Was nice to hear your respond. I’ll email you exact details about of water parameters (all my tests are logged) along with current situation update. Thank you for these podcasts and other RU-vid projects that you do. Regards, Armen.
The worst salt I've ever used. On ASF website, they claim the alk to be around 8, however I tested it with Salifer test suit, the alk at 1.025 is 11.5! I consult with the official distributor from whom I bought the reef evolution salt if this is a bad patch, and they told me this sky high alk is a long existing problem!
Super interesting, but leave up the photos of the fish longer. This felt like a weird peak a boo game with how quick those photos were flashed on screen.
I guess you'd have to clarify what type of migration you're talking about. Is it the yearly migration of animals, who travel thousands of miles, or is it seasonal migration, where animals move from one area to another, depending on the season? Humans have adapted to travel great distances, even without our modern day technology. However, we tend to stay in one place, if it is beneficial to our families, group, or tribe. Many people used to follow migrating mammals, hunting them for food. Or, travel certain distances searching for delicacies that are only available at certain times, in specific regions. Even ancient humans could pack up supplies to travel great distances, for a variety of reasons. Now when it comes to eating, we are gluttonous in the developed world. There is an abundance of foods that we can eat...but we don't need to eat so much...or everyday. We can survive without food for up to 30 days or more. It is uncomfortable to go without food, for several days or a week at a time, but we won't die. However, we can't survive longer than two or three days with out water.
I wanted to ask you a question. I am cycling my saltwater aquarium with your "one and only" bacteria. I am on day 3. Day 1, day 2 and today I measured 3ppm of ammonia and 0 nitrites. Is this normal?
Ostreopsis Dino’s…release into water column at night. At which time UV kills them. This is standard ops for killing that species. The only one mind you but only way to beat that one.
Honestly I love to collect those shells they're pretty and cute (smol ones) didn't know they cud home venomous snails...guess I'll just collect lil clams 😂
