so i bought this game after i watched a few of your vids. when i go to play and get to the server page all the comes up is "china" servers.. they all have the same amount of players and it seems sus. i cant seem to find a good server or a server with actual players in it. am i doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated, thanks
Ngl humans could be a huge save or a huge fail for the game. Guns and vehicles could easily become a issue, I just hope they stick to the horror like design they are going for and make humans powerful in groups, but very weak alone.
it happen to me quite often, i join to a pack of a carnivore specie and then they start attacking me for no reason, ppl is weird asf on this game sometimes
Ahhh what it is to be a noob again. This games skill system inherits and for all practical purposes infinite growth (getting to 10.0 is insane and some servers have way more than that) the skin hunting you can do to in my opinion makes it better than the isle. But if im wanting a more "realistic" dino experience yeah definetly gotta go to the isle. Path of titans controls are cool but having to go do all those tedious ass missions to grow and most cool lookin dinos are lunch boxes lol.
bad change, hurts people who aren't a plague on the community and dont stack 8 people and 2 of them hacking to run around killing everything not in their clan.
9:28 bruh you need to turn up your damn sound or something. you can hear the stomping in the background. or stay on alert when your pack is fighting something and your the target

Personally I think theyre making it smaller to make there be a larger size gap between it and Allosaurus, in Reality both animals are pretty similar in size Allosaurus being a little longer and maybe slightly heavier. I'd prefer them to be like that personally the two larger predators of the mid tier competition between the two over hunting would be interesting
Idk, some people play the isle like a deathmatch, this should be a survival game, with dinosaurs celaning their bodies on the water, herbivores not killing everything they see...

The game doesn't have very much to do besides PVP so herbs can choose between sitting around between meals, or hunting carnivores. The incentive for being so aggro is that they're bored or want to practice PVP. I know there's breeding, but it's not the most fun activity, and you have to have another grown partner of opposite gender, which isn't always walking around. People play games to experience things, not sit in t a bush, so I always play with the mindset that everyone is bored and will attack at all times.
Lol, I was one og those 3 herreras on the wall and I died a half of a minute after that from starvation because I was scared to go down and steal from the baby carno😂
so the raptor works like this: you basicly pounche your target one to three times and then you just doge their attacks they basicly will bleed out. but don't let them rest or run away and in a coordinated pack(discord) there's actually only one raptor pounching/attacking the target the others just distrect and run arund the prey so the target has no chance to know from were it will be attacked :] // plan (b) if in a pack: if the raptor who's attacking/pouncing the prey is low on hp or stamm it will walk around the target while the others are trotting/running around to distreckt and so another raptor takes the possition of the pouncer :D ik my english is the best in the world xD
The main issue i found with carno is that he devs have a very bad habit of not letting go of their ideas even when they clearly dont work, if you look at the carno's concept art you can see it being mainly a small game hunter with teno (and possibly cerato as imo they're on the same size spectrum) being the largest (and riskiest) prey, yet that idea clearly just doesnt work in-game. Carno gets hungry quick and a troodon, hypsi or a herrera will simply just not be enough and its just plain ol not worth chasing and that leaves what? An omni, dilo, teno and cera which are things (aside from dilo and omni) that are supposed to be a 'high risk, high reward' type of deal and not something a carno should hunt on regular. Besides its general abilities kind of suck, dont get me wrong a carno's charge is damn powerful but it takes so much stamina that its just really not worth using unless you're in a group which.. doesnt happen often i'll be honest-- mainly because of that food drain that makes people so uncertain about grouping, i do dearly miss the old carno (when carno was a cannibal and the only playables were teno, omni, pachy, carno and stego (((and maybe bird but i aint sure)))) since i do believe that was the time carno was at its peak glory
