I feel so bad for you, a lot of your deaths were just poor luck. Honestly your deino run was better than any deino i could do! So im thoroughly impressed. Keep goin man, if it gets too hard having a friend in discord to play with can help loads, id love to join you and help but thats up too you if you want someone with you or not. I can already see you improving loads and hope you get that one game. If possible, try out spawning as an egg, youll have a whole family to start with and its always fun to grow up with siblings, plus the color mixing of the parents mechanic is just awesome. Keep it up, love these isle videos and i hope you get it, its just a matter of time. Yeah I think having people in discord or with you is a great idea. Nesting as a new player is also great experience as most experienced ones will try to help!
Remember: Be paranoid at all times, specially around tall structures because of Herreras but everywhere in general, always assume that something will come out of nowhere and attack you.
I highly reccomend switching onto the hordetesting branch, it fixed quite a few bugs and the game looks a hundred times better visually. Its accessed via the same "Beta Tab" that you opted into Evrima.
if you alt f4 or other form or quick leave the game(even hitting the logout button) your dino stays in the world for 2 minutes(or 1:30 cant remember what it is in current version) if you "sleep"(hold h when sitting) you can't look around and your screen goes black over time but your dino get out in 1 minute possibly saving your life(sometimes, it can also kill ur dino for no reason rarely but its not because of sleeping I assume, just leaving a server in general)
Also, there is a safe log method when you sit down as any dinosaur if you hold each, it will start a countdown of one minute until you safe log. If you do it this way it’ll make it so your body will immediately disappear. Once that timer goes down, the only issue is you cannot move at all while logging off.
3:26 when u grab a body u can carry(not drag) if you click and shake ur mouse to the side the organs will fall out, each organ gives a different diet(intestines give 2 bar diet, lungs give 3 hexagon diet, heart gives s, and the stomic gives the last nutrient the player ate), organs give LOTS of diets and it doesn't matter what you are(as long as your something that can cannibalise with no debuffs like cera), its the most efficient way to get diet as an adult, also won't work on ai
when your bleeding stam goes donw faster and your max stam values(hidden to player, you only see the % left) is also lowered, wallow in mud or sit to recover blood
You gotta sleep to logout and your dino will disappear at the same time you leave, but if you leave just by logging out your dino will stay in the world for a very long time
a good starter dinosaur to get familiar with the map itself, and just good at surviving in general. is the tenontosaurus, its a herbivore that is very good at deffending itself. it also has the fastest swim speed out of all the terrestrial dinosaurs. it has a powerfull kick and tail attacks that do a lot of bleed to. its also pretty fast on land to.
you know, I really enjoy watching smaller creators, because they actually try to make their content enjoyable to watch, most main stream channels knows you'll watch it, so if its entertaining or not doesn't matter, so I just want to say I appreciate you and I enjoyed the video.
ceras get a buff while around dead players(again, not AI), it will start to "chuff"(make a weird noise constantly) letting you know a buffed Cera is near(unless they crouch but I BELEVE that disables the buff until it stands back up), the bigger the bod the bigger the buff(picking up the bod removes its ability to buff)
when stam is above 60% u can regain it at a fast pace when siting or more slowly gain it when walking around, at lower stam values u need to switch to slow walking and then just standing then at 20-25% u have to sit to get stam back
tip for reaching east plains lake as a deino- don't let your stam get below 60%. If you do, it will not regain while you're trotting. This way you can keep going without stopping.
Good video! Was funny to see my tip comment in the beginning of that scrolling haha Oh, by the way, when you press ESC and log out, your dinosaur stays in the game for five minutes without you with it. But if you press H to sit down, then hold H, you begin to sleep and it starts a minute count-down, after that minute your dino is fully out, and fully safe leaving you not having to worry. Always safe-log, quick logging, which is what you did, is dangerous.
please, PLEASE make sure you safe log😭 To safe log you need to sleep. It does take a minute(literally) but it's so worth it considering it won't cancel out if you're being attacked, and it makes sure your dino isn't actively getting attacked after you've logged off. Another thing is, be wary when attacking, or being attacked by another dino(talking about the gali situation when you were being kicked). I suggest a attack and run tactic. Lots of people use it as it's the most effective way to deal damage while also avoiding getting damaged yourself. Also to break out of pounces, hold E as if you were eating. It allows you to buck things off, and if you're big enough to where you can still move with the raptor on you, go to a tree. Hitting the side the raptor is on against a tree will knock them off and leaves them vulnerable to attacks as they're stunned for a moment as they both fall, and try to get back up. :]
Croc has a cool dash feature too, right click lets you lunge in/out of the water and grab stuff. But, if you let your head surface just before you lunge, you'll get an accelerated speed boost for 1-2 seconds. Can give you that extra 2-3 metres needed to close the gap to prey being cautious at the waters edge. Only works if you surface for a half second before hand though, so only worth doing if you really need that extra 2-3 metres, otherwise just giving your prey more of a chance to react.

bear in mind that hard logging does indeed leave your dino vulnerable for sixty seconds or so rather than immediately despawning you so you can be killed in that time frame! Just another tip to add to the massive massive pile everyone else is providing you As for the "don't trust anyone" tip, there are players like Mombie who go to bat for risking trusting ppl because the potential friendship moments make the game more fulfilling, which is something I also agree with :) play it how you like
When you log out without waiting, you actually stay in game for around 3-4 minutes. Also, I play a lot on NA2, go over to northeast lake/river to grow, it takes longer because of the diet, but a lot safer.
I would recommend playing Pteranodon. The flying and water skimming is a learning curve but once you get the hang of flight it's a very chill experience. You also get to learn the map and find new locations.
holding ALT while biteing will "alt bite" its a directionalatack so it can be used to parry or trade dmg with someone else in extange for a small bit of stam and it locks u in a longer animation than reg bites, it also does a small bit of extra dmg, at 4:00 that's what the croc(deno as ppl will cal it in game) did, Also in settings, manual alt bite will be turned off by default so you wont need to hold alt when attacking behind you, I personally dislike that setting and disable it but I know others keep it on.(also if u hold alt while moveing u can move ur camera but keep walking in the same direction, rely helpful if u need to move but feel like ur being watched)
on further re watch, he just lunged at you, denos special ability is to lunge and grab players, does damage over time and they use it at waters edge(gives them a distance boost) to drag you to the depths to drown you, its costs a lot of stam for them tho so its not always a death.
When you were at that dead end in the canal below the waterfall, there should be a crack there you can fit through no matter your size and you can go through a wall then swim up instead of going on land
I would recommend sticking around the middle of the map. Dont go near east or south plains, theyre very dangerous and only promising places to grow for experienced players. Sniff around as much as you can and approach carcasses with caution. Always take a look around and familiarize with your surroundings. Its best if you do not call out too much, it will also attract other dinos rather than only your species. If you want to grow something to adult, check out the dinos that are more pve based. You could try: Beipiaosaurus, a small duck with long ass claws, cabable of swimming, including some cool features, like digging up crabs and dolphin diving. If you want something carnivorous, the herrera is the best to survive with since it can climb trees, to stay away from dangers and it can also jump down scary heights to smash any dino it lands on (it deals ridiculous damage, dont underestimate it). Id say these are the best to start with. Dont worry its normal, it also took me a long while to grow something its completely normal just be ultra cautios of everything and always think about your actions twice. Good luck.

Damn near did a spit take seeing my comment in the video, lol. It's tough to grow in the isle and I hope you had fun making the video! You could try playing herbivores as well. They are a little easier to grow (You don't need to worry about finding food as much). The Galli is especially good at exploring the map since it has a large stamina pool and moves around quickly. Stego can be tough to get to adulthood, but once you're there it's tough to be taken down. You are incredibly slow though, so keep that in mind.
You can turn on manual alt bite in settings, makes the bites faster but not omni directional, ofc you can always alt bite by just holding alt and clicking. Also if you just log out I believe your character will stay there for about 5 mins, so I suggest sleeping(resting and holding rest key).
Go into your settings and turn “manual alt bite” on it’ll help save you on stamina when fighting. Plus you can learn how to use it properly. It’s good for quick turnaround attacks and slightly better damage than the normal bite. And for some creatures it’s not a bite at all and it’s a completely different attack
Also at the end you got pounced. If a raptor (or sometimes a troodon) weighs more than the creature it pounces, they pin it to the ground. Soon raptors will be receiving a buff where raptors can pin a dinosaur larger than it depending on remaining health and the amount of raptors latched on (basically if they weigh more than the dinosaur and they are too weak to hold themselves up anymore)
I say as a young carnivore stick to areas with ai on your diet that can feed you, for cerato and carno south plains is a good idea and for dilo I recommend spawning at west rail access
If you dont safe log, your body stays there for about 5 min or so. But i noticed that you probably need to change a setting in your game. If you go to SETTINGS>GAMEPLAY>MANUAL ALT ATTACK. Put a ✅️ beside that. Right now, your normal left clicks are using stam. If i seen that correctly. If not, then someone else might find it helpful.
N I believe let's you use night vision to see at night so it's really helpful. Also official servers aren't really great as their basically a free for all death match. Playing on the unofficial servers gives you more leeway when learning the game and what abilities dinos have.

10:02 if you quick log your body stays in the game for a while, you need to find somewhere safe to sleep and it will log you out of the game in a minute. Edit: Also at the end you got pinned down by a raptor, that's why you couldn't move.

keep at it man loving the videos! when you are bigger you can grab whole bodies with holding g, then shake your mouse to get the organs out which fill your diet quicker
nah man u need someone to play with u who is already good at this game it will be lot more fun and easier to understand the basics of this game find someone and try to raise a cera since the diet for that animal is very easy to find and its pretty strong against raptors and dilos even a carno if u know how to fight .

@@preda7138 I wasn't laughing, firstly. Second you learn from experience. The game can be unforgiving but by making mistakes you learn not to do them again. Sitting around doing nothing, reaching adult then dying because you don't know how to properly approach each situation is not a fun way to play a game.
Btw don't play in officials it's very difficult for new players, join unofficial server like islander semi realism good server with a lot of good rules atleast you will be safe there from agressive herbivores
