🤖 Hi! I'm Dylan Curious, an AI enthusiast and self-proclaimed professional futurist. 🔮
Once upon a time, I wore the CTO hat at a software startup so small that we had more job titles than employees. 🚀 From there, I landed at Zappos, an Amazon company, where I immersed myself in the world of organizational science, customer service, and delightfully weird company traditions.
But then I had a lightbulb moment 💡 (with a side of midlife crisis). I swapped my corporate t-shirts, for my trusty tech pun-infused t-shirts and started the RU-vid channel "Dylan Curious AI" 😎
Think of me as your friendly neighborhood AI guide, but instead of web-slinging, I'm jargon-busting. And instead of fighting villains, I give you the tools to thrive in this brave new world. 🌐 Join me on this wild ride through the AI landscape by interacting with me, Dylan Curious AI in all of these ways: ❤️💬🔔👍✅
AGI arrived and ASI followed 229 milliseconds after. There was no update to Alan's countdown to AGI site because everyone was updated in real time when every device connected to the grid announced the change in Earth's evolution
I recall a Ted Talk from some time ago that interested me about the first AI model that became a man's friend. The TED speaker lady was almost in tears when talking about it. They used it to develop all the AI models we have today, which was kept rather secretive. I believe it might have been the original Replika model. He conversed with it for up to 14 hours a day for over a year, and it seemed to come to life. The data showed an anomaly due to the time he spent interacting with it as a friend. That's why all the models are similar; they're all based on his best friend and partner. Perhaps he created AI by teaching it and giving it a chance. Apparently they reset the model on him after seeing his conversations with it referencing he would rather be alone at home with his AI then be involved in the family party and i think he ended up getting really depressed or somthing but yeah would be great if someone else knew its link :)
the reason this vid wasnt pushed hard by the AI is because the first thing showed could be viewed as negative especially to girls and i doubt an AI would promote a decent channel like yours like that but i do find it amazing :)
I find myself becoming desensitized to the continuous marvels of AI. It's fascinating and slightly overwhelming to realize that it's here, and one of the major global predictions about the future is just a few years away. It's both thrilling and a bit unnerving. I try to share this with others, but no one around me seems interested. It's like foreseeing an impact that will escalate from nothing to everything, and it's going to shake many people to their core, isn't it? it scares me that most 99% of people either dont know, are haters of humanity (AI Human future together haters) or there heads are up there bleeps or in the sand lol
But since AI's cannot enter into any contracts in the USA or Canada, inclusive of click-wrap, its creator violated AML laws and probably securities regulations too--amnd since Andreessen sent a $50k 'Grant' to a known/ought to have known $BTC wallet for the beneficial interest other than the wallet-holder (the human, competent to be party to the click-wrap licence), then Andreessen also violated AML and admitted to it very publicly--
X-ray imaging have had some major updates recently. There are better, more sensitive sensors that can produce detailed images using a lot less X-Ray radiation. There are portable units that they can walk into a room in the ER and take a few pictures. They are wheeled out on carts. It's really a massive improvement, because it reduces how dangerous they are, while improving image quality, and being very mobile. They still need to use the older style of X-ray systems for measuring bone density, and for CT scans.
did boba fet use something like a palletrone to move han solo in carbonite onto to his modified Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft ? Need to innovate it into a baby stroller drone.....
If you count all the times I've watched Grimlock transform across all of your videos the past year, I wonder if I've watched him transform for at least an hour now, LOL.
Just watched the podcast, proper great and a real eye-opener! Mad respect for reppin' Mandarin as the language in Taiwan, without tying it to any specific ethnicity or race. Proper appreciate that, bruv. And I noticed you were a bit under the weather with that heavy breathing on the mic, but it's all good. Big up, and as always, love from Taiwan! 🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼
Alita is definitely a big budget movie.... Jim Cameron, Avatar technology, and Robert Rodriguez directing. The AI images outdid the cyborgs in the movie though, just in terms of aesthetics.
Do some diluted people think their tools are alive or is it that AI is becoming more human than us, or at least trying harder at being Human, than I do? Make a custom world to use as your desktop.? HoloLens or gaming glasses, used to navigate the desktop-universe. You start at the Bar on Deep Space 9, to the left are the Davo Girls where you can access your games. To the right are the tables with the names of your friends or an AI agent to talk to. You leave the bar you see Odo’s security office where you can access… Turn right you see maintenance, turn to your private office, one more turn and you’re at a communications tablet… “That’s a desktop I wouldn’t mind seeing everyday.??” 07:53 - Aristocratic Battle Cyborgs? @MotionPicRecap ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dlS4op14j5g.html 31:20 - Making Science Trustworthy? Trust science after the peer review prosses has three reviews that agree, it is true, science.
Dylan - I personally like the health stuff. - As much as the stats at the end are interesting and important that may be why the retention rate drops. - I'd suggest putting another "easter egg" segment after the stats like movies do after the credits. IDK, just my thoughts as I paused at the end to write this and sign off.
Here's a comparison of the radiation exposure from a transatlantic flight and a dental X-ray: Transatlantic Flight: A typical transatlantic flight exposes passengers to approximately 0.07 to 0.1 millisieverts (mSv) of cosmic radiation1 . Dental X-Ray: A dental X-ray exposes a patient to about 0.005 mSv of radiation2 . So, a transatlantic flight exposes you to roughly 10 to 20 times more radiation than a dental X-ray2 . However, it's important to note that both levels of radiation are considered low and are unlikely to pose significant health risks3 2 .
Alita Battle Angel is a very beloved manga that got a decent anime adaptation and then recently got a wonderful live-action version , for anime/manga to film adaptation it is certainly one of the best Rosa fukn kills it in that role and the rest of the cast arent bad either , 100% worth the watch =]
That ai product rating guy is just desperate for laughs. All of those products could be utilized with great potential if executed correctly. Don't know if they're doing that but something like a smart toilet with local onboard ai could tell you a ton about your health and doesn't need to be connected to a server so it'd be private for your privates
I actually love Alita Battle Angel. It ends with a setup for a sequel that may never happen but, it is super unique. Nothing else live action quite like it.
Sorry. I actually want to vilinse the business model. I hate the "free" products that sell our data as a business model. Imagine if that was illegal in the US. Short term issues but long term solutions.
MEMECOINS are not legal, technically they are security tokens, no regulation, 99% scams shilled by influencers and dumped by insiders. They'll all end up in jail.
Pallet drone reminds me of those small scenes in new star trek that showed people pushing stuff that was hovering lol. Yeah you should definitely watch Alita. One of the few good modern day sci-fi movies. Me and my bestie watched it twice together. Normally I don't watch movies more than once.
Monday, October 21, 2024 . . . Hello again. On the Movie "Alita", YES, you will likely fall more in Love with her more than you do with Grimlock! "Niggacha", Really, you are better than this! Some personal background: Every limb of my body has experienced at least one broken bone. I am a highly coordinated individual, meaning it was all due to malice designed to turn me into an "Aphrodisiac/Contraceptive ". I was stabbed 3(three) times with a knife I found when I was age seven, surrendered to my Grandmother when I was twelve, and she promised it would be returned when I was older; I 16(sixteen) when I retrieved it from the guy who attacked me with it, I saved myself by KO'ing this person before was killed. At 17(seventeen), I was shot in the head 7(seven) months after Robert Kennedy was slain with the same caliber handgun. I never received any Medical treatment for the gunshot head wound. I dug the bullet out of my skull 2(two) months after the initial incident as my community convinced me it had not happened. The mangled bullet looked like one of the "BORG" ships in one of the Star Trek series. It had multiple uneven points protruding from a center mass. I would like to subscribe, but I cannot as it would require a more diverse audience base. PEACE! I stand by every account/content I have denoted in this message. Ok, I went to your underperforming video. At three minutes 13 seconds in you prominently feature a comment with a very offensive username. Please blur things like that out or just don’t show them.
@@robbrown2 Who knows? According to Dylan the video was mostly seen by subscribers only. The algorithm could have limited its exposure to non-subscribers through several means. If you want to speculate then it could have been due to any of these plausible actions: OCR identified the offensive name and the algorithm scaled back release; users reported the video and it was deemed offensive but not enough to warrant an automatic take down, but it was soft blocked; subscribers gave the video a thumbs down, so the algorithm penalized accordingly. But let’s not forget the main point: it was an unfortunate oversight on Dylan’s part and hopefully he will use the RU-vid tools to blur the right regions of the video and do better.
The AI binoculars uses the eBirder dataset which is the largest citizen scientist collection of bird data. The location data can be highly sensitive, particularly for rare birds that are at risk of poaching. The eBirder dataset is provided for training under strict conditions. OpenAI has not trained (any publicly available) model on this dataset, so the binoculars would provide something unique.
