Hi, do you have any follow up with regards too this video? I have use the app for a while myself and enjoy it, just wanted to ask any experience with regards to withdrawals?
I opened a notice deposit account with Standard bank and the consultant said I could get a nominal interest rate of 7.04% and said I can do it on the app. After opening the account on the app, I only got a 6.94% nominal interest.. Whats the best way to get the highest interest rate? Or how do I get a rate that was advertised to me? Does the day of the month on which interest is accrued affect my rate? What can I do?
Hi! l'm excited to be here in your channel and I'm interested in learning more about investing and saving up for my retirement but am a little confused about the whole process. Any advice or tips to get me started up would be greatly appreciated,
Retirement is now more difficult than it was in the past. l've been saving for a long time instead of investing, and right now 1 only have about $400K. considering all the inflation, i'm thinking of investing in stocks, i dont just have idea on market strategies.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether 1'll have sufficient funds for retirement.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. l've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over 3m
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? 'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
HI there , thanks for the info i am an Indian with work permit in South Africa , is there any brokerage app that supports indian passports and which brokerage app do you recommend , do we have any best performing mutual funds here ?
Whole concept of Copy Trading well explained. Looks like relying on master seems a good technique in such volatile market. I was looking at a broker Market101, but let me try and check out XM Copy Trading Platform.
Your videos are good quality and not fake other RU-vidrs are fake and not good camera quality but they get million and millions of views ( by the way I am a 10 year old using my mom's phone❤😂) your explanation is so good I don't know why I am watching this video but it is so interesting

Investing can become very emotional & success is dictated by how you keep your emotions under control. I have a simple approach, buy during fear (major corrections down) & sell during extreme greed (market highs).
I have deposited R200 on my balance this year may, I just wanted to have money on standby to invest, I checked now in September my account says I have nothing to invest it’s actually on R-60
Love your channel, one thing... I hate liberty the fees are insane! Please keep an eye on their monthly fees they are killer. Was with them for 10 years wish I had not been T_T
I do it in the dollar portfolio. There is a difference, mainly the difference is that over the last 40 years or so the dollar has appreciated more than the Rand. So with dollars, if this continues, you get a double gain in both share price growth and currency growth 😊
Regarding your USA portfolio(my only portfolio) Qyld erodes over time. I'm à former options trader and if an etf/etn/cef experiences erosion,I dump it. I also live off my portfolio -I own my own home With $205,532 to 211k, for the past 2 years, my portfolio generates 5k to 6k USD/month. I also recently used $41k of margin to buy more distribution paying etfs/cefs in which I've let the distributions/dividends pay off the loan balance. In 4 more months, the loan will be paid off and I'll have an additional $41k USD of income producing stock I didn't pay out of pocket for. Once the margin loan is paid off, the value of all my holdings would be able to drop 10% and my portfolio would still be about the same value as today. Future higher highs, higher lows once the loan is paid off in December to Feb (Not financial advice) Thats roughly R3.7 to R 3.9 million generating R 89k to R 106k month with R417k rand on margin left to pay off. Stock that pays for itself I just turned 44 yesterday I prefer FEPI at 44 to 47/share=zero nav erosion SVOL at 21.50 and under APLY at 16.30 MSFO under 19 AMDY under 14 Ymag at 19 and under SPYT at 19 and under QQQT at 18 CLM under 7 CRF under 7 OCCi under 7 RA at 12 RIV at 10 or less OXLC below 5 ECC below 9 EIC at 15 and below PTY at 12 and below AIPI at 43 to 49 CCIF at 7.92 or less XFLT from 6 to 6.60 NVDy at 22 or below AMZY under 19 MSFO under 19 MSTY at 24 and below CHY at 9.90 to 10.90 FCO below 5 ACP as close to 6 as possible Gof at 14 or less.. ECAT at 16.60 or less. PDI at 11 or less
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Kimberly Ann Doran
Typically your broker will deduct your dividend tax as it hits your account. EasyEquities does this. Then when numbers are larger it will go under your normal income tax, which depends on your brackets 😊
Hey! Thanks so much! Yeah it's not something I typically do too much. In the beginning I did it a small bit. But these days life is so busy, it's hard to always keep an eye on what's happening with markets, currencies, interest rates etc. Because if you don't see when things change you can lose out. I prefer to be able to invest and leave over the long term 😊. So don't typically do it these days.
You can also buy them on Brokstock. If you look at our recent video about the S&P500, there is a link where you get a R100 bonus. If you want 😊. But yes Brokstock is good.
I totally agree. Better than a savings account, but definitely not the first place I would rush to, to put my money. Definitely other better options for sure 😄👍
Ah that's amazing! One of my favorite stocks at the moment, and it's grown really well this year in value. I think as interest rates start to slowly come down the property stocks values will start going up. So a good mixture of share price growth and some passive income is always a good thing 👌

That's a very popular request. It's a tricky one because there are so many considerations with all the dividend stocks, and high divs don't always mean it's a good investment. So finding the balance of a good div and a good stock takes some time. But it's definitely something on the cards for a future video 👌
Oooh great question 👌. Well as you know I've been investing in Realty Income already, they're really solid. But at the moment I honestly think there is more overall value in EPR, both in dividends and the potential for share price growth in the near to medium term. Just personal opinion I'd do a mix of Realty and EPR. If one, then EPR at the moment 😊
Guys if you're investing in ZAR do it to hold until February 2030, it's good to go to Dollar after the USA election this is what I'm doing now however do your research before buying any stocks
