To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a weekly and monthly basis. That's the key to living a financially stable life. This trick has never failed. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life and put this basis to work and practice. To be honest I have noticed a sudden change in the market, and I was really panicking, I didn't know whether to sell, buy or even take out my money. I am new the investment world, and I do believe I still have a long way to go but this video really gave me most answers to the question I had. ThankQ so much.
That is awesome to hear, being able to help give some clarity on the markets is what I am to help with 😊 Thank you! The most important thing we can do is hold our investments and keep topping up in small increments over time. 😊 wish you all the best.
Awesome video! I've actually been eyeing Realty Income Corporation lately and I think it's a great time to buy them at these levels.. P.S - I finally figured out what the mystery share is 😆
Thank you so much! 😊 Yes I've been enjoying the good monthly income from Realty Income, and it's something I will be continuing to build over time. It can be disconcerting for most, because with interest rates rising the price is under pressure. But for me for the long term i'm seeing some good value. Haha that's great. There are I think 2 or 3 people who have guessed/worked it out so far. Respond here and I will let you know if you are correct 😄 put it in a seperate comment so I can delete if right 😋
I have a concern around investing in USA stocks directly. In terms of Dividend and Capital Gain Tax, I understand we are exempted from double tax because of the Tax Treaty between South Africa and USA so we will only pay taxes in South Africa. But in terms of Estate Tax, we have to pay 40% tax for investments above 60 000 dollars for non-USA residents. Our families will suffer from this loss. Only work around for Estate Tax is to invest in USA stocks via South Africa, Ireland, etc. Eg. Coreshore S&P 500(South Africa), Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS EFT(Ireland). This ireland eft is available on interactive brokers platform. Please share if you have any info on Estate Tax.
Thanks for the information. I have got a general good working knowledge of income tax and capital gains tax. However estate tax isn't a speciality of mine. Luckily $60,000 is around R1.2M. So myself and most people won't be close to that threshold for US stocks alone. And even when that is met, there is also generally high estate tax from South Africa as well. Even for the Coreshares etc. But yes, when I reach near that R1.2M I will consider what options to look at 😊 Thank you!
