Welcome to Tequila Forever and Forever Tequila, my name is young tequilero. This is a channel about reviewing and talking about tequila, giving my honest thoughts and opinions, recommendations and more all while having fun. So go ahead and grab a bottle and join me.
If you were to compare this tequila to another which one would it be? I'm still hesitant on buying this one and wondering what other tequila añejo are extra It tastes like. like
Oh yea! G4 is straight fire! I’ve got the last batch of the XA. How can you tell the new batch from the older ones? I’ll have to be on the lookout for a bottle!
G4 grew on me like a mother fucker. It's my absolute go to for sure. Amazing tequila for an amazing price. Haven't cracked open my XA yet. The high proof is tremendous.
Since you seem to be the only one who’s reviewed the 5 year XA I can confirm this is a repeat. This expression explodes with flavor. I’ve had all expressions from Terralta with the exceptions of the 110’s. All amazing and the best tasting tequila on the market with price being a major plus for what you get
Do you live in the bay area ? There a place in south sj that has 2 bottle left of w.j. tequila ocho anejo $89. Just pick up a bottle of P.M Spirits from there
@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647 Downer square bottle shop blossom x snell. I like the PM Spirits just finishing up the old pm Spirits I had. I haven't open up new yet😜 I pay $70 for the new one. I want to try the high proof PM Spirits
@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647 no high proof P.M. . I ask the guy there to see if he can get that High proof PM. He took my number down to let know if he can get PM HP🙏
You have to try The Atanasio Anejo . It's normally $100 but I found it by me on clearance for 70. It blows Cazcanes away . And I agree the Anejo deep is way better and it's worth the price. Cazcanes is good tequila but way too overpriced for what you get.
Man I was hoping that you would rate it an 86. I rated it the same thing on Tequila matchmaker. The tequila's over hyped and not worth $135. This is a 70 to $80 bottle of my opinion. Hell no for $135 . You restored all my faith in your palette. Thanks for all you do bro and thanks for your honesty.
Too much talk about this tequila being the new Fortaleza and so on, 86 is appropriate for this tequila. I think 80 is a good price for this product and I am disappointed I paid what I did for it. Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it. Hey!! I gotta keep it real and say what I feel, it hurts my wallet and I’m sure it hurts anyone who agrees.,
This was the first tequila that I had on my shelf that I haven’t seen you review yet! As soon as I saw this hit my notifications, I grabbed my bottle and poured up! Was like sipping with one of the homies! It is a good tequila, and man, I sipped this after their No. 10 still strength blanco and this anejo really tasted like pineapple and coconut 🤯. I enjoy this, but when it comes to my other anejos, this one is at the bottom of my list. My Artenom 1146, G4, and Fortaleza are much better. Though all of these are harder to find in my area, so I try not to go through them too quick!!
Absolutely love this high proof. I picked up a lot of the same notes on the nose and palate. I was lucky and found this at a local liquor store here in AZ for $55
I picked this bottle up for $69.99 at HiProof looking forward to cracking this bottle after I try the regular G4 Blanco. So far I've only had Ocho Blanco and jumped right into Tears of Llorona 😂 Which I tried out of a Glen but found it to be a better experience using the Denver & Liely Tequila Glass, check this Glass out its great for Big Tequilas with higher proof like Tears of Llorona the glass is more wide and lets the tequila open up.
Great choices , love all 3. I got a review coming soon on that g4 blanco , highly recommend it. Thanks for the recommendation, perhaps in the near future I’ll pick a Denver & Lilly’s glass. Thank you.
@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647 Hell yeah brother me too! I'm a chargers fan so I'll be watching closely. Should be a good game. Will need some great tequila to calm the nerves lol.
Can’t believe how cheap it is either, the store owner din’t know or care about that 5 year limited , just another bottle of Terralta to him. Salud to that , it’s how is should be.
Natural Fermentation means that instead of adding a particular yeast strain they select into the fermentation tank, Natural Fermentation takes the yeast strains that are naturally present all around us in the air and those yeast strains land inside of the open tanks and the yeast are responsible for breaking down the sugars of the agave and the byproducts are alcohol which are then distilled in column or in most cases with these additive-free tequilas Pot-stills (they are then distilled a second time to get rid of unfavorable parts called the heads which contain harmful substances like methanol, acetone, and other unwanted congeners that have lower boiling points than ethonal, the tails are from the final portion of distillation and remove compounds with higher boiling points than the ethanol and essential oils that give tequila their unique taste and aromas) The Hearts are the prize portion of the distillation process that have the desired alcohol and essential oils.
Very difficult to fined , most places have never even heard of it. I called the distillery to ask about it and they confirmed its a special limited release.
I was just playing. I did order a bottle and they actually sent me the 5-year XA instead of the regular. So, I guess I better order two more@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647
@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647 I was trying to mimic the Tequila Ocho Widow Jane (more or less). My version was a bit "hotter" but very tasty! To temper that heat I blended some Fortaleza Blanco into it. It was a Frankenstein experiment but in the end it was really great! *I probably couldn't replicate it exactly again but it was fun!
@@tequilaforeverforevertequi4647On the Patron Silver, I would say about the same as Don Julio blanco with the edge going to Don Julio. Middle 70's for both
I’ve been using the Glencairn glass for tastings at home and a tasting glass at my favourite tequila bar. I really only drink and do tastings of blancos. I came to my own opinion that nosing tequilas is overrated and mainly is only useful for marketing expensive glassware. I recently bought a couple of Viski tequila tasting glasses on Amazon. They weren’t cheap but are quite the departure from the glassware featured in this video. The Viski’s have a wide base to allow vapors to escape the liquid and accumulate in the glass. The mouth of the glass is only slightly smaller and allows you savor the aromas as you sip on the tequila. These glasses are a game changer for me. I use one whenever I want to sip on a fine blanco and savor the taste and the aroma. On the other hand I tried a bad tequila that I had on hand for shots, and it was undrinkable in the Viski glass.
Aroma , smell and odor is responsible for 80-90 % of what we taste , so I do believe glassware is very important , this is based on my personal opinion and research. I do believe there is a lot of marketing bull to sell their products, I don’t listen to that , once again this is based on my personal experience. Thank you for watching and your feedback, Salud!
