The wood fermentation gives it a relly interesting sour pink lemonade note, not overpowering but its there. Im picking up Don Vicente next week but right now for my taste, Primo 1861 is my favorite 1579 since Pasote. Shame that the Primo reposado never got a proper release.
I loved pasote! Can’t believe it’s gone. Terralta has been the closest thing to pasote in my opinion. Don Vicente is really good, I’ve only had the repo, cant wait to try the blanco. Primo reposado din’t get the attention it deserves.
