This was the 1st game I ever attended. My dad took me at age 10 and we sat toward the top corner enedione. Listened to WNLS AM radio on the way home and they mentioned the score 40 times "Noles win 70-21." It was very cold for FL and Doak had a decibel spear so the louder the crowd roared the higher the spear light escalated.
Traxler knew his goose was cooked even before he pulled on his jock strap. His goal was to make it somehow respectable by stalling. His offensive moves lacked any conviction.
Man that UH team was good for those few years with the run and shoot. No one could stop it. That was that strange span of time though that Houston had amazing football and basketball teams but could never turn them into championships. Phi slamma jamma was the worst, still kills me they didn’t win it all.
DeSanto is a PUNK, my son wrestled him twice as a youth and even though DeSanto is more than 2 years older it was obvious even at that age he was a PUNK, his daddy is a little skinny frail looking guy who is going bald, honestly he doesn't look like he has an athletic cell in his body, oh well like father like son !
These UH receivers are have the worst hands I’ve ever seen 4 dropped passes in first 6 attempts, none of those dudes sniffed the NFL except Jason Phillips I remember him playing for my lions
That fireman's carry was beautiful. Not traditional, since he didn't have a full overhook when he penetrated, but the way he kept the elbow tight throughout the sequence was chef's kiss
Hey PSU, where did all your spinners go after Nichal, golf and Rutherford graduated? Even your Nat champs now win by 2 to 1 scores. Recruits some guys who are agressive.
* bump * this video Yianni's instinct to lock his hands at the end of the 1st possibly saved him from 2+back points but led him into a takedown of his own. The champ being a champ.
That B.Y.U. team had monsters Playing for them..15 players 6-5 ft and taller. Some 6-8 ft. Their coach knew how to put a team together. He was truly a great coach.
