I recently got this game from eBay for 120€ plus 16 something shipping costs. Very good condition, complete with instruction manual. I think i made a good deal. I truly enjoy this game and i cannot get over the fact that i missed out on it way back when..
You forgot to say that when she throws the gun away, it’s because she has come to terms that she can’t die even if she wanted to, that she’s just part of the town there to punish James, just like all the other monsters.
Sorry for the late response: 3:23 Vanski - BACK UP 5:24 Christer Wibert - Astra Viscera 6:09 Barbatuques - Baiana 13:05 Goshi - Cho Fast (feat. Yurufuwa Gang & Ralph) Hope you enjoy the music!
@@leodese_ In the past when life expectancy was lower, definitely. It probably is more subjective than I make it sound though. When I was younger I thought 30+ was old but I’m now 32 and I feel just fine and don’t really look much different either lol. In fact, I’m in better shape than when I was younger.
How excited are you for the remake? I’m optimistic. The graphics alone are worth playing it as long as they hold up. I mean it’s not like the bar is set high, but I’m sure the developers are worried about what we will think of it
Honestly? I only watched the last trailer 2 days ago and man, I think I have little optimism left for it. The animations look stiff and really “indie-like” which I hate and the whole UI and HUD is honestly the worst thing they could have ever done. I have other nitpicks with it but I want to wait for its release before I critique it as a whole.
@@leodese_ I played the original back then and it was great but it had its flaws. I figure you’re under 35 so you probably don’t understand how excited I am for it
great video, i really like that dark humor turned into pure simple jokes. i've finished game recently because it was too scary for me as a kid and it still was today so i didnt quite catch up the whole story, more like running through the game without turning behind. i should definitely re-run it in order to integrate all informations but this vid sums up pretty much everything on a chronological way it happened in the game. thanks
I played this when it was newly released and before RU-vid existed to explain things for you. It took me no less than three playthroughs to understand back then.
Thanks! Oh boy, maybe I will give it a try but I do not normally go into “open world” territory because they always have so maaaany things going on at once.
@@leodese_ horrifying yes, but i believe the sadness outweighs that. my own perspective is based on my own experiences and how they impact me on a psychological level. to see a physical manifestation of the most damaging thing a girl has been through is heart breaking, yk? its less fear/repulsion with the monster itself, and more sympathy toward angela/what she lived through.
That ending letter is pinnacle of saddest game/movie moments. I'm not a story gamer, I'm much more of a gameplay guy like Castlevania, Metroid and Mega Man. This game is an exception. I never skip scenes.
Yeah, I always heard it was hard to hear and I didn’t believe it, until I played it. I think this series shows that the gameplay isn’t always important, sometimes the vibe is the thing that makes or breaks a game.
@leodese_ gameplay in SH2 is still good though especially for a game like this. Take Heavy Rain, that game sucks imo. Heavy I don't remotely care. Silent Hill 2 is just special and to be fair the 1st 3 are all very special.
