Idk if it’s just me but my 1985 Honda trx250 basically the same quad mine overheats all the time like if I ride an hour it will overheat for like 20 minutes
What all grit sand paper did u use? Turned out great I know the video is old but if u still have it I’d really invest in aftermarket a arms the ltz and ex a arms are a goofy design imo
In this video it was stock carb just re-jetted and no air box lid but currently it has a 32mm flatslide carb with no air box just an air filter on the end of the carb
For more power, these bikes are actually super de-tuned from the factory and just by adding a bigger carburetor, a more free flowing intake, and an exhaust it really wakes them up.
I raced my 416 in the gncc and FTR series in florida. Raced it through the hybrid years, into the 450 years. It never had a problem being competitive. The 416 will smoke a 440ex.
I'm trying to look into upgrades for my 98, is there any suggestions? I'm looking for performance but not so much as to where it would bend a rod or some sh1t since it's almost 30 years old and definitely has some good miles on her😂
Had one a couple years ago that was completely original. Still had original tires on it. Only thing was the plastics were super faded, but the engine and everything else was spotless and ran like new.
