I enjoy learning, fixing, dismantling, re-purposing and experimenting on my cars! I always tend to do a lot in those spectrums so I decided to share what I do so you peeps can too. If you guys are down to watch and grow with me, subscribe and join the Community here on PaycoTsunami!
Honestly @ that point it would be the motor of the fan, just swap the motors if you don't have one on hand to see if its really that. You can also get a multimeter to see if there's power with the plug initially
How long did it really took you to do all this? And what do you mean not to preload your mounts, does that mean that don't tighten it with your torque barrel all the way to the end?? When you already lower the thing right
Preload the mounts I meant without the weight of the engine while tightening them up, It’ll cause early mount failure if you have the weight of the engine on them. Took me longer than most because of the camera so tbh around half a day or so
So I have an automatic 2005 civic ex. And the motor mount for the driver side in it is the big bottom one like yours which is for manual transmissions. But mine is automatic and it’s a smaller bottom one. Do you think it’s be ok if I used the new one that has a smaller bottom? Or should I just keep the old one in?
Bro literally I kill myself all day trying to fix the cooling fans I tried everything on your videos thanks I'm going for that module 😢😢😢 thank you professor for all your help 👏👏👏👏👏💪👌 blessings... respect
Thanks for the Great video! I did the same what you showed, I bypassed the fan switch censor with paper clip and the fans started working. I changed the fan switch censor but the fans are still not working. I bleed the coolant but no luck yet. Thank you!
Nice project. What is the difference between the F22A1 and the F22A6? is the engine bigger with higher power on the F22A6? is the F22A6 the same engine the early prelude had? Why don't you install the F22A6 in your car better.
It looks like someone has already removed and cleaned the EGR ports and replaced the plugs. I just had to do that 2 weeks ago..Not too bad and the car is finally fixed..
1 .We are in 2023, the car has no explanation of JAPANESE engineering, the USA is good too but I have always liked Hondas,,,,,brutal,,,, I am in the same thing, I have an accord 92 ex ecu A/T PT6-A51 I AM CHANGING IT TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION THE ACCORD I USED WAS ONE 90 DX S/T PT3-A51, WHICH CAN I USE. WHAT SHOULD I DO CAN SOMEONE HELP ME.... 2. estamos en 2023 el carro no tiene esplicacion de la ingenieria JAPONESA , USA es buena tambien pero siempre me a gustado los honda ,,,,,brutal,,,,yo estoy en la misma cosa yo tengo un accord 92 ex ecu A/T PT6-A51 LO ESTOY CAMBIANDOLO A TRASMICION MANUAL EL ACCORD QUE USE FUE UNO 90 DX S/T PT3-A51, CUAL LE PUEDO USAR. QUE DEVO HASER ALGUIEN ME PUEDE ALLUDAR....
Finish installing my fourth alternator tonight, that i got from rockauto, its still causing the whine sound, 3 alternators from autozone none functioning properly, might have to search for a oem in a junkyard or buy it from toyota :’(
Hey alex, if I get a switch with 3 points, do i just connect positive point to red, ground point to black, and trigger point to the antenna wire? I also noticed some switches have only 2 point. Can you explain which wire goes to where? Thanks!
With a 3 pin switch, its only used if you want to leave the ground open or not but with this one you don't need the ground. We're just interrupting the wire to detect the radio is being used or not so we only need the 2 pin switch. I believe you can still use that 3 pin switch but you just need to find the diagram on it to see which 2 pins is used for switch on/off
I had this problem with the last three alternators I replaced on my 88 Cutlass 307 Vin Y.. Unreal. I had a shop replace the first one. They gave me a life time warranty and it failed in a year. then they replaced it and the new one whined. It lasted a couple of years but no warranty. I just replaced it myself and again it's whining. Got this one from O'Reilly.. Like you, unplug it and the whine goes away.. Just another junk alternator.. Everything made today is crap!!
Honestly the intake & other major things like alternator can stay but I was taking it all off initially for a rebuild so it was easier to man handle everything off in the engine bay since its tied down with the mounts instead of hugging the motor to ratchet the basics off on an engine stand
Very helpful; mine is running normal save this rattling sound. Sounds similar if not the same to the one that has the problem in this video. Looks like a breathing issue with how it got loose.
Payco.. when I do this test... if you are sitting inside the vehicle.. only my left fan (condenser?) comes on.. right (cooling?) .. stays off.,. you think that is the motor?
I would trace the wire first for any damage for the fan that didn’t work & if it’s good I’d bet on the motor for sure! If I remember correctly this test would bypass the sensor & just turn the fans on directly so if one or the other isn’t turning on its one of those two issues. Hope you get it working!
Excellent video on the lesser known early EJ25. I just bought an 97 legacy outbabck and Want to delete the egr. Ordered a 98 JDM 2.5L for short block. Cant source ADM intake manifold so Id like to delete it. Any one make kits to delete EGR?
The alternator whine sound in aftermarket alternators comes from the rectifier. It will get louder with acceleration. You might also hear it through the radio.
I have a 2005 model manual civic vehicle, but when I remove the oily engine mount, is it okay if I put a manual civic engine mount instead of the same output as the automatic civic?
