The Maxx V2 is one of THE BEST BASHERS out there. Sell the creapy esc, get yourself a Max8 G2 2250Kv with GPM 50t main gear and a 23 pinion gear and run 6s with Arrma Backflip lP! I run GPM golden springs front and rear, silicon plugs center Diff, Stock 50k front and rear diff and the Traxxas 8940X pin set... thats almost it. Servo is stock rn. but aluminium steering arms with a better servo are also worth the money but not necessary AND most important. I changed the front and rear bulkhead 4x10mm bulkhead screw with M4x20 front and M4x25 rear with counter locknuts and the Bulkhead is indestuctable now! ... try it out and thank me later!

I was a guy calling 4s "perfect" for this car for about two years... and brother I was an Idiot 😂 Because of 6s even my damage on the car got less because of the better Air control. On 4s you need speed to Do good flips in the air... on 6s... just pull the damn trigger 😂😊😊
Such a terrible video mate, you take a upgraded (I know it was a roller, but you used that to use far superior parts) arma and compare to a stock Traxxas and don't even give the Traxxas a fair shake, I get this is more of how you feel video but at least try to do a good job.
i have to say, comparison at the begining was good, but you forgot to add price comparison... Kraton is much more expensive (as RTR). Anyway, good video
The feel from big trucks suspension is awesome, the way it sway and goes over stuff is what makes big scale look so good, smaller trucks bounce more and spike up and down so to speak.
Nice video! Also thinking of buying this and make it brushless with a 4000kv motor and 3s. I wonder how much throttle do you need to make it backflip? Does it do backflips easy on 3s? Also do you think 4200 kv would be too much? Also do you feel like you are missing out 4wd?

Thanks, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I think I'm done. It's just too consuming, and I dislike what youtube has become. Especially in the RC world. I may still make new vids every now and then. As I miss it, because I do enjoy it. I'm Just not making it a priority.
Just bought my son a red Gorgon after watching your video and Thunder RC. This little Gorgon is TUFF. So now I’ve got to get myself one. This will be myself first ever RC. Thanks for a great video. I don’t the we will go over 2S though.
Love driving this thing, I sent some long jumps and broke a part and ripped the front bumper rubber, instantly regretted it. The truck is so cool to look at. I do think changing the shock oil makes driving this even more enjoyable. I didn't do too much except shock oil and removed rear tires for the weight to absorb some longer fast jumps better and it definitely made a huge difference.
How is it today ? Was thinking of adding a center diff and throwing in a 120 amp to start and then maybe Some steel gears of the sticks fail . And some adjustable shocks

Hahaha one of the best unboxing I've seen yet. I got the vorteks 4x4 3s for my grandson Ryett and he loves it. I've put tower to tower centre brace and spur and other upgrades. It's a beast great video mate 👍 😂
I've got the same exact car, absolutely indescribably the best for your money on a starter rc....however they could've made the gears better, mine keep shredding. I've shredded one Trans gear, a rear end, lol working on front end now...where do we get better upgraded parts that's compatible though
