If I get a Truck and anything breaks in 2 minutes I'm returning it. Those upgraded tires seemed to work amazing the quality was there. I loved how this truck handled so well in the Terrain.
I have the O8S and you can feel it in the ground when it lands! 😂 Nobody can believe how heavy it really is after watching the way it can drive and maneuver!! Tons of fun!!👍
I have a brand new Outcast 8S EXB on the bench as we speak. Waiting on a servo to get this beast to 100% You mentioned not hitting your leg with this 28-30lb monster or serious damage will ensue. As fate would have it, I was doing some full sends with my 12lb Sledge yesterday over a large drainage embankment and was driving a bit closer to myself than I should have been. That said, with the throttle pegged the car hit a rock or rut just a few feet from taking flight and ended up hitting my right shin and knocking me off my feet. Obviously embarrassed and angry with myself I looked down at my leg to discover a nasty abrasion with blood beginning to leak out in dozens of little streams. No stitches required but I can tell you the pain that followed was intense and has given me a new respect for these fast moving and awesome beasts, especially if little kids are in the area. Have fun!
Good lord! Thanks for sharing, that's my worst nightmare! Glad your okay and yes they are definitely not "kids" toys. I think anything 1/5 would be a quick hospital visit. Even though it's by remote it's so cool how you can actually feel the car. Thanks for watching!
Really nice setup. I understand how you feel you when you only saw 48mph. It does feel faster when you drive this big rig around. Drop your gears to 1-1 gearing 39t spur with 39t pinion. The motor will handle it with this colder weather coming in. Also the wheels you have on are awesome I had the same ones but the blew quick. I had to run some belted powerhobby raptor xl they cost some where around $150. If you are gonna jump her 30+ ft in the air I recommend the M2C metal rod in with some rpm arms thats all she needs the chassis can handle the big heavy hits.
I think it's the batteries that is holding down performance. The powerhobby and Zee batteries are OK, but my new Gens Ace basher pros 100C 8000mah outperformed them significantly. Just as an example. I'm running the XLX2 and 1100kv with 35/47 gearing and I got 60 mph on grass. With the same set up and my Powerhobby batteries I got 47 mph. Crazy right? Nice rig anyways. I got the same rig, but with M2C upgrades.
Wicked bash Sketch Please tho have a look with scrutinise in your eye at your mesh How long is runtime with that set up 😊 That high pitch squeal is a lot of unwanted pressure somewhere Maybe have a look at pinion wear I know I’m late I’ve only seen this
Thanks. I thought it was odd and looked things over when I first ran it and didn't see anything abnormal so I just thought bigger rc, bigger noises lol but I'll look it all over again soon. And haven't timed it, but I feel it's around 20-25 mins...
I love mine so much fun part from them thing at the front keep coming loose I'm buying some upgraded ones I'm running 34 pinion and the other spur that comes with it not sure what it is
@@SketchRC- Right, I was just about to order the K8 and out the blue comes the new XRT.. I love the K8 but this traxxas is a demon straight out the box
I run 30/30 mod 1.5 gears on my Xmaxx with the 800kv and it wants to do self detonation if I turn the punch up. I have to run it on punch level 2-3 and I’m still destroying diffs. I swear the thing could easily go 100mph plus if I wanted to speed run it. Hard to keep it stable though
I have the same truck with the same electronics but I run 41/47 gearing. When I used the 39T spur the heat kept making my pinion come loose after every bash. It was annoying so I went back to the 47T spur now I don't have that issue anymore. Are you having this issue??
I'm not a RC know it all, or claim to be anything near that. I just assume a 1 to 1 ratio wouldn't be for speed. But more for rapid speed (punch) but not over all top speed. But then again I don't really know haha.
