I met Sourdough Slim when he performed for a couple of years at the Plymouth Fair. He is alot of fun to be around and listen to his music. Slim is a definite showman. Bonnie (CA)
Oh my!!!! I'm 75 and have, for the entirety of my life, wished I could yodel! I've bookmarked this and am going to keep coming back and back and practicing and maybe I can manage to pull off even a half-way decent yodel by the time I die! THANK YOU!!!
Waw that is great but too fast and are the yodeling bits the same as you taught or are few extras in there? Thanks the best teacher in the world, I enjoyed it, bless you. Will you give more lessons like this one? This is a kind of yodeling language and I need to know its "words" if you like so that presumably one can make it up somehow but again knowing how to combine the "ingredients"☺.
Good gracious me how interesting and easy it is, bless you. Right I am pressing the button again to hear the next wonderful thing you kindly teach. Thank you, is fun and rewarding, it make you feel great, wow!
Yodeling comes from the shepards of the Alps in Switzerland and Austria, who were up high in the mountains with their cows, sheep and goats. Yodeling in Texas seems so out of place ... but in a way it is nice that you keep up the good vibes there.
