Yes you would need the full kit as the powered mirrors are different and that kit comes with Modules switches and programming that you will need. It is designed to take Non-Foldable mirrors and make them folding. Every component will be needed.
Couldn't is correct. These are OEM parts but we have found often the dealer will not do this type of upgrade. If you have a dealer that is willing to do this for you then that is wonderful but all throughout the country we encounter folks that do not have that same success and want access to high quality OEM upgrades.
Yes we also have a package for the Ram 1500 models as well. Here is the link for the video below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MftsivSyfF8.html
I am on my second gladiator, my first one came with blind spot monitoring, and I thought it was supposed to come on all new vehicles now, but it didnt come on my 2nd Gladiator, I like that its something I can add on, but I was kinda shocked at the cost, wow.
Ah I see. Back-up camera is definitely on all new vehicles now (non-commercial use) but blind spot monitoring is not standard just yet. The cost is due to having to replace both side view mirrors with ones that have the blind spot indicator light, and the tail lights with LED tail lights with the blind spot modules built into them. Those parts are unfortunately not very cheap.
Hey I own Mazda 6 2016. do you have a guide installing the kit on the vehicle? and will this upgrade interfere with connecting a subwoofer and new aftermarket speakers?
This is the installation video for this package. We also have a PDF installation guide as well. infotainment.com/cdn/uploads/Mazda-Connect-Apple-CarPlay-_-Android-Auto-Upgrade-Installation-Guide.pdf
Where do I get one and the GPS antenna? I have a 2018 1SS and anything that would help me with a non-pay nav unit would be great. I need a part number. I looked all over eBay found 1 from junkyard for $119. Where do I get antenna?
I unfortunately cannot divulge part numbers, but we do have a softmount GPS antenna you could use. We also offer a programming service for the HMI module. Hello. This is the installation video for the UAQ that would be compatible with your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lk-bG-6itik.html
When replacing the cluster I pay close attention to the fuel gauge, it makes it as if it were an ST and not an of fuel add and do I know how many miles per liter it gives me?
It should result in the same, as we program it to your VIN. But it might take a little while for the average miles per liter to be accurate, as this is a different cluster and has no memory of your previous driving.
No not on a 19. This is the camera they built for the 21+ Ram's and we do not yet have a retrofit. You may want to check to see if Camera Source has a compatible upgrade. www.camerasource.com/
Could you list or itemize ALL THE PARTS that was used in this installstion. I can't seem figured the harness that runs from the rear sensor to the kick panel
This is actually the video for the complete plug and play installation package that we offer. The package comes with all components that are presented in the installation video. A majority of the components are factory OEM parts. The wire harnesses that are included in these packages were developed by our team to integrate in to the existing wiring that the vehicle is equipped with to accommodate a plug and and play installation. Please feel free to reach out to our sales team with any additional questions that you may have. 1-855-636-6287 Ext: 2 or sales@infotainment.zohodesk.com infotainment.com/shop/exterior-accessories/park-assist/2019-2023-ram-1500-heavy-duty-factory-oem-parksense-rear-park-assist/
Unfortunately compatibility with this package starts in 2014. We do have upgrade packages for the 2013 Durango, but unfortunately they would not include the apple carplay/android auto functionality. I invite you to fill out the following Product Interest List Form and we will notify you if and when the kit is developed and available. forms.zohopublic.com/infotainmentcom/form/ProductInterestListForm/formperma/m7R2exajUQkfs2WJO8mkDzUcYC2HIt5WrUWxFICnigs
I bought this product from Infotainment and have been very pleased with the unit! My only concern is that my maps are no longer current, and it seems that Chrysler no longer allows updating the maps on this model. This seems absurd, but there are lots of people who own this model and have NO WAY to get current maps. If anyone knows of a solution to this, we're very keen to learn what to do!!
Hi there, We understand the concern. We really wish we had access to the map updates ourselves. Perhaps if enough people inquire to HERE Maps or Garmin (If you're looking at the RHB model) it might make them re-think discontinuing them. As you said, many vehicles currently use these radio models, even the 2018 Wrangler JK which is still a very recent vehicle.
I wonder and can’t find an answer anywhere …. Can I upgrade my 2018 sierra infotainment 2 software to the 3+ via a factory software flash? To get access to wireless CarPlay etc?
GM upgrades rely on the RPO codes that are within the VIN# for compatibility. So if you can provide your VIN# to our sales team, we would be happy to help verify a compatible upgrade path. 1-855-636-6287 Ext: 2 or sales@infotainment.zohodesk.com
That is not something that we currently offer. We are always adding and developing new upgrade kits. So if you wouldn't mind taking a minute to fill out our Product Interest List Form. That will help add to the demand for that particular upgrade and vehicle. Our development team takes direct priority based on demand from this product interest list. We'll also notify you if something becomes available for your vehicle. forms.zohopublic.com/infotainmentcom/form/ProductInterestListForm/formperma/m7R2exajUQkfs2WJO8mkDzUcYC2HIt5WrUWxFICnigs
That's correct. If you already had functioning CarPlay and it is no longer recognizing the phone or charging the phone, I would think that just replacing the USB interface would do the trick. Maybe you could check fuses for anything that references "Outlets" or "USB Interface" first just to verify (that is if you are not getting a charge to the phone when plugged in)
Here is a weird question. I just did this install on my 23 trd sport. After installing it and went for a test drive. There was a smell that was coming from the exhaust. Not burnt oil or coolant smell. Did your exhaust this?
Yes it did, but this is completely normal. There's usually oils and other contaminants in the metal that burns off after it goes through it's first couple of heat cycles. The smell should be gone after a decent drive.
We'll have the current price listed through the following link on our website. infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/console-gear-shifter/2021-2023-ford-f-150-stowable-floor-console-shifter-upgrade/
The unit you installed does not have a CD player like the one you removed from the dashboard. How come? Something is not right here. We want the infot. Unit to have a CD player. Is that available?
The factory GPS navigation radio containing a CD player is designed for the 2014-2016 model years. The units excluding the CD player are designed for the 2017-2018 model years although they’re interchangeable throughout all of 2014-2018. By default, we will ship the non-CD player units due to popular demand.
@Infotainment_nav so for a 2018 RAV4, can we get a unit with a CD player and premium navigation? (not the scout navigation since it is not available as of October 2023). The dealer service people and Toyota advovate center said you can't interchange infotainment units . You must use the exact one your Vin. Number is associated with. The only way is to look for an approved aftermarket unit that is compatible with your vehicle.
Doug, it is a good thing you worked hard to start your own company. Have you ever thought of making parts that go into the car's dashboard that include a built-in phone holder/cradle? Example: a vent with a welded on cell phone holder or an ashtray...etc.
Thank you very much! We stick to the OEM options, but maybe something like that could be an option. If you have some other ideas, we'd love to hear them, you can submit this form and we can look further into them. forms.zohopublic.com/infotainmentcom/form/ProductInterestListForm/formperma/m7R2exajUQkfs2WJO8mkDzUcYC2HIt5WrUWxFICnigs
This is the listing right here infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/climate-control-dash-panels/2013-2018-factory-ram-truck-8-4-radio-bezel-upgrade-kit/ However, if you have a 2013, you'll want to look at this listing. infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/climate-control-dash-panels/2013-factory-ram-truck-8-4-radio-bezel-upgrade-kit/ If you were looking for the full radio kit (the radio in this video) including the bezel upgrade, it's this listing. infotainment.com/shop/2016-ram-1500-classic-build-series-upgrades/2013-2017-factory-ram-2500-3500-hd-4sp-gps-navigation-8-4an-ra4-radio-upgrade/
Understood, no problem! We have this page on our website where you can punch in your zip code, and you'll get a list of the closest verified installers in your area. infotainment.com/verified-installers/ The software update needs to be ran before the hardware installation, or else the software will hit an installation error.
I have 2021 jeep grand Cherokee limited wk, I got apple car play to work when connected by wire, how do I get it to work wireless, I have apple iPhone 14 pro-max. Also how do I find out which OEM radio I have, Do I need to upgrade anything in the radio. Thank you great video🙏
We do not have a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto solution for Jeep just yet but this is on the way. Use this link and we will keep you updated. Thank you. forms.zohopublic.com/infotainmentcom/form/ProductInterestListForm/formperma/m7R2exajUQkfs2WJO8mkDzUcYC2HIt5WrUWxFICnigs
My 2012 Silverado already came from the factory with this navigation head unit, but I bought an aftermarket head unit that is plug and play with the wiring of the head unit you removed, I wasn’t aware that the wiring harnesses were different, would you or anyone know of an adapter to convert the navigation harness to the standard harness?
Ah! I see. So we have a kit that will upgrade you from the DVD Nav model to this one (it includes conversion wiring) but it's for factory to factory. I would check with the aftermarket radio manufacturer to see if they have a version of this radio kit that uses the HDD GM Factory Radio's factory wiring, and not for the setup that originally had a nav disc.
It's so the vehicle's BCM recognizes that the Hood is in fact fully closed. The wiring sends that communication to the BCM. If the vehicle can't tell if the hood is fully closed, remote start will not enable. It's a safety feature to prevent people from driving with the hood not closed.
Absolutely, here it is! infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/infotainment-radio-upgrades/2013-ram-ds-2013-2018-hd-truck-ubd-radio-uconnect-5-with-8-4-inch-display-including-wireless-apple-carplay-android-auto-upgrade/
Hi there, Here's another video for that specific procedure ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z17pTitTfOo.html And here's the written document infotainment.com/cdn/uploads/518068797476_4.pdf
Hello I have a 2015 dodge journey se with a broken screen that I’m looking to upgrade/ replace. Mainly because once I replaced my camshaft position sensor & reconnected my battery, the AC in my car reset & the function is set to blow air towards the feet only & I have no way of changing it to blow out the main vents. Would this upgrade also allow me to fix the issue?
I would recommend contacting our sale department at 1-855-636-6287 Ext: 2 or sales@infotainment.zohodesk.com. We would be happy to recommend a compatible solution for your vehicle. Please make sure to have your VIN# ready.
It's a little more up to them. I would definitely reach out and see what they charge per hour if you were to order the kit yourself. But some of them might prefer you order it through them.
The programmer is included in the complete plug and play kit that we offer. infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/towing/2011-ford-f-150-superduty-f-250-f-350-integrated-electronic-trailer-brake-controller/
Showing how to get a connectors off. The back would have been extremely freaking helpful, but you all forgot that part. And yes, I bought one of these from you guys and I am complaining about your video, sorry.
Ah, yes the radio connectors are typically a bit tough. Some of our earlier videos go over that, but it appears that this one did not. We apologize for that. Sometimes the release clips are very firm and don't want to give. The best piece of advice we can provide is to take your time. Those connectors can break if too much force is used.
The installation guide on the product listing is what you'd probably be better to look at for tapping to the BCM. infotainment.com/shop/2016-ram-1500-classic-build-series-upgrades/2016-2024-ram-1500-heavy-duty-truck-cargo-bed-led-lighting-kit/ It gets pinned to the C1 BCM connector, Pin 5.
