Great video. The detail regarding what you can do with Android Auto was excellent and surprised me as I played around with it and kind of really missed how efficient this can be setup with the short cuts etc. One question though I don’t seem to find anywhere with detail and you kind of glossed over it as well. That is “software updates.” Does this refer to specific things like Uconnect itself or specific apps using Uconnect such as the Nav system maps by TomTom? My truck is a 2024 Ram Limited. I see current installed map shows released 4/2023 and the last installed map 4/2023. I’m WiFi connected in my driveway as well. Thoughts?

Thank you for the feed back and support! The software updates would be the Uconnect software contained within the hardware. In regards to Navigation, these units will have the latest maps that are available. In the future, you will be able to update the maps by contacting Navigation.com.

Do all of the new features work, like the additional camera views on the surround cameras and the performance/off-road pages?

If they are on the vehicle currently these features will retain through the upgrade. You will not lose any of these factory functions. We program to the Vin to retain these features and the radio has an acclimation period where it learns the final programming from the BCM within then first 24-48 hours.

Is there a setting for the AFLS headlights

We haven't had reports of the setting not being available. The setting should be in the "Vehicle" options page.

The 3d doesn't show anything in 3d as Google shows the buildings with satellite function. Tomtom is junk from day one. I thought that was dead 20 years ago. Who on earth bought this junk - uconnect? RAM? FIRE THEM RIGHT NOW .
