Uuhhh, yeah?.... Seriously though, thanks for the feedback ;-) Off the record I'm on a bunch of painkillers and other stuff at the moment so the ol' frontal lobe isn't up to what it should be. I could prep and edit a script in advance and rehearse, but I'll probably leave that to the professionals - I'm just not that guy. Anyhow, I'll try to keep it in mind moving forward, cheers :)
No, no not at all. Just the Punic wars stuff. And the Greco-Persian wars kits. And now the O-Group stuff. And some Napoleonics of course. And soon some of their medieval stuff for the Crusades by the look of it... *Sobs* I have a problem, I need help!...
Ah that's interesting. I suppose I can reconcile it in my own head by saying it's a Goblin's torch and they probably wouldn't know any better so maybe goblin flames just work like that?... Hope all's well with you!
Sorry to hear you have been ill mate, you still achieve so much more than I do at present and I have no excuse. Love the Goblin pirates. Hope you are better soon Sir.
Why thank you Good Sir! I'm doing ok just had a touch of the flu the last couple of weeks so was a bit run down and didn't want to spend too much time out in the cold if it could be helped ;-) Hope you and the family are all doing well!
@@evilstu3177 Yes things are well and a bit warmer than down there at present :) but it is winter. Redeveloping my man-cave at present. Shadow of yours Sir, but I can have that inspiration. Take care mate.
Many thanks. I've just been letting myself do whatever i'm in the mood for of late. It's clearly not focused but I am wearing out the 'to do' pile a little :)
Many thanks for the kind words! I'm still toying with the idea of a big Italian Wars game some time next year, given it's the 500th anniversary of Pavia, but I really don't have anything definite in mind at the moment so am just trying to 'slow grow' the forces as I go for now.
The trays are 3d prints. I'm fairly sure this is the original file, I just adjust the scaling to fit the base size I need. I usually paint and flock the edges to blend everything in to the tabletop, but haven't gotten to that stage with this project yet obviously :) www.thingiverse.com/thing:2987823
Cleaning my hobby desk is one of those perpetually 'in progress' projects that never seems to quite get to completion. I'd say that I didn't used to be this bad, but we both know I'd be lying ;-) As long as you know where the stuff you need is then all for the good :) Thanks for taking the time to watch and good luck with your projects!
Thank you very much for the kind words :) Starting to enjoy my painting a little more so fingers crossed I can make some inroads to the hobby backlog and get a few games lined up too :)
Well said, thank you :) I seem to be past the 'mental roadblock' on a couple of projects now so just going to hope I can relax and let myself enjoy the painting for a bit. Switching between a few different things seems to be helping so I'll run with that for a while and see where I land. Many thanks for watching and the thoughtful comment.
Cheers! Yes the challenge was a good driver to keep the motivation up - much gratitude to Mini Warmutt for running and letting me jump on the bandwagon
Whoa!!! Awesome work on all of these minis! My goodness, that's a lot! How many minis were painted for January? I'm almost done with the Warlord Games Greek Starter Army!
Many thanks! Hope we all have enough fun that these challenges can continue to be run - It's a great excuse to try and cut down on the 'pile of opportunity' ;-)
Wow!!! You have a great lineup of minis! Greeks!!! Nice! Go ahead and throw that cavalry in the mix. Partially painted minis are okay to include in the challenge. I'm looking forward to this! Happy New Year!
Yes, we have moved into our own place up at Highfields about 20 minutes drive north of Toowoomba. Have a shed, but nothing like yours Sir. Hope all is going well and always love your videos @@evilstu3177
No, everything's fine! Seriously though these are only done to tabletop so not as much of a time investment per model as your excellent work ;-) Hope youa re doing well!
Good to see you back making videos and wow, you have been busy. You’ve been working on some great projects, I particularly liked hearing your thoughts about your Italian Wars project. Take care 👍
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'll aim to do more manageable updates more regularly, this got away from me a bit but you know how real life goes ;-) Hope all's well! Cheers, Stu
