Did carli did an update on the thicker lip and different direction on the line opening facing the rear, I just bought this and the instructions show different as I've seen on this installation??
Is this your daily? And if it is do you ever wish you had a smaller vehicle to drive for a daily? I’m thinking about getting one but it would have to be my daily driver since I’ll be trading in my F150.
Yes it’s my daily driver and the only reason I don’t like it as a daily is because I haven’t deleted it yet. Once you get rid of that EPA BS I could drive this everyday with no worries.
Hey there. I was curious if after you installed your castor shims you had any issues or degradation in the axle end seals? I had replaced my axle seals and they were perfect until I installed the castor shims. It looks like the shims moved the axle out of concentric alignment with the housing (which makes sense). Everything else on my setup is correct and functional, lockouts, vacuum hubs, etc. Let me know! I'm thinking of making a video about it since I can't seem to determine the root cause other than the shims.
@@mcmahansgarage What I noticed is that a lot of folks are still running the dust seals that are attached to the axle itself. I installed the (updated?) ones that seat into the end of the housing and don’t spin with the axle.
One big mistake you made - if you have to take a car in 3 x for the same issue it’s automatically considered a lemon . Talk to any lemon law lawyer you would have got all your money and interest back I did this with Ford Windstar 2002 did it myself and I won got all my money back . Now you know 😅
I have a white 2019 for almost one year now and I don't think I'm gonna sell it. It's a heavy bike, not very confortable, but its 114 engine is a beast ! I always dreamed of buying a Harley but, since I did a test ride on an Electra Glide some 20 years ago, I gave up the idea as I found it horrible to ride, compared to my Yamaha V-Max or my previous Yamaha Virago 1100 and Honda Shadow 1100. Anyway, when I saw the FXDR it was love at first sight.
I have the Bronco Wildtrak and the best I have gotten to-date is 21.78 mpg or 10.8 L/100. The 35’s and Sasquatch suspension are really good has a daily driver. We recently went on a 12 hour return trip and got 10.8 going and 11.1 coming home. This is prairie driving, so it really matters the way the wind is blowing…..going the wind was behind us, coming home was a side wind. Full on head wind was about 12.2. Speed was approximately 110 km/hr. The mileage has been getting better as the engine breaks in….currently at approx 6000 km.
@@mcmahansgarage mine dry rotting also. Looking at the Toyo open country rt trail or the Falkin at4. Afraid the Toyo will do the same thing as my nittos since it’s the same company.
Great video ,but to know when i need to change my oil i need to know my oil life. While i can figure out hownto reset it,i cant figure out how to veiw it? Any ideas.
I just can’t justify $600 for a pipe. I’m going to try and cut the resonator off and weld a straight piece in place and see how that sounds. Please me know how the banks sounds
Need to be careful, many counterfeit motorcraft parts have been showing up on Amazon & ebay....hope your using a good diesel fuel trearment(ie: Hot Shots Secrets edt or Arhoil)….also think about installing S&S Disaster prevention kit just in case the CP4 lets go...have a good one👍💪💯
Any thoughts on tire replacement? I’ve got a 21 Tremor with the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. I’m considering @ about 45K replacing them with BFG KO3. My use case is more road than offroad and I don’t really do any rock climbing. I’m thinking KO3s will be lighter and better on snow, light forest service roads. Thanks in advance!
I have had really good experiences with the Nitto ridge grapplers. When I wear these ones out I’m going to go with the Toyo open country RT. I would definitely look into both of these tires alongside the ko3 and see how you feel. Hope this helps
@@mcmahansgarage I own one, 2020 F350 Lariat Tremor in Iconic Silver, Black interior, 6.7 High output diesel. It’s incredible. Did you read the Car and Driver article ? I also have the dual Banks Idash setup and the Banks pedal monster (that I never use and always keep in stock mode). The pedal monster is scary dude, it’s ok in city and manageable in sport all the way to level 5 how ever…………when you get past level 5 in sport mode it REALLY wakes up and I put it in track mode level 10 ONCE ! NEVER AGAIN ! ITS A BEAST WITH ALL TURBO LAG GONE AND INSTANT POWER. Just be sure to turn OFF traction control and turn on the rear differential lock (it will automatically disengage at 45 mph) but that launch puts your stomach in your throat. I am now hoping to get the Banks monster cold air intake, Pusher intake manifold, Pusher hot and cold side pipes and the Banks Derringer (when they finally release it) I can’t get the Banks 5 inch Monster exhaust because I have the factory 5th wheel plate under the bed but hopefully they are working on that. But these new diesels are insane creatures !
