I found out how to program this but start this on atleast 3 blocks of straight road to ride without stopping: Put the bike first in neutral- once you have it plugged into the ecu turn on the over- Hit the kill switch of your bike to on- The indicator should say L- Start your bike and from a stop shift into 1st- Let go of the clutch and ride in 1st gear while its flashing the number 1- It will then flash into a small letter N- When it does that IMMEDIATELY SHIFT into 2ND GEAR- ride in 2nd gear until its done flashing and turns from a number 2 to a small letter N- Then shift into 3rd and ride in 3rd gear until its done flashing and turns to a small letter N- Keep doing this all the way through until 6th gear these same steps and once you get to 6th gear ride out the gear till its a solid 6 and its not flashin a number 6. Then it will be program and done :) if you mess up while trying to do this and you get stuck at a stop sign or red light. Pull over and turn off the bike. Turn the key over and hit the kill switch on and then off about 6-7 times until it starts with the letter L. Then you can try to program the gears again. The programming must be done without stopping from 1st-6th gear :)
My guess is it was varnish on the valve stem. What it needed was the valve pulled out and using emery cloth to clean the stem and grind the valve sealing surface with grinding compound. Although not needed it doesn't hurt to grind the sealing lip if you have it out already. Unless the varnish is knocked off the stem it will simply happen again.
I also have a similar cheap gear indicator on my Kawasaki Vulcan S. I made a video of my installation on YT. However, one of my viewers claims that these are unreliable and can ruin the motorcycle's ECU. This is what the viewer wrote "The port is the data port(similar/same as CANBUS/OBDII on cars) which also connects to ABS system and as cheap aftermarket parts sometimes do fail in spectacular ways(water ingress being a prime example where you could get 12v on the data lines, and have seen this as sometimes they convert between 12v and 3.3v or 5v, for the product in question) if the ECU didnt expect consumer use of the port(hence why its default state is capped off to prevent ingress), it may not have short protections on those lines(definitely no fuses), and by frying it you could throw numerous codes which could/would throw some ECU's into a limp mode(if your lucky) some will just say sorry not sorry, you no longer have EFI, ABS, or any other system" ... Are there any truth in this statment!?
Proper jack pads have a slot at the bottom where you can turn them 180 so they securely stay in place the super el chaepo ones do not . Spend a few bucks more and get the proper ones...less risk of collapsing also.
well, I see 2 problems here. 1. your useing Phillips head screws. Those things need outlawed agenst national building code with hanging drywall as the only exception. They are garbage, and attempting to drive 1 one handed regardless on what your using is just impractical. 2. For most viewers you show and explain your drills clutch is correctly set. but i noticed your speed is only set on 2. when it has a 3rd speed option. if you did a 2 hand test, with t25 torx head screws drill on speed 3. the drill drives the screw faster then the impact...because everytime the impact has to make a impaction it stop turning...it happens so fast it go almost un noticed..but its enouph for the drill to pass it in a screw driving race because it doesn't stop just a full bore run. now im not saying that its easyer to handle during drive time...its not, but if your not afraid to hang on to the tool. it will save time.
@@GuitArtChannelNestor if it doesn't work, search for other videos even if different bike. That's where I heard on how to reset. I've just ordered mine as I'm always forgetting what gear I'm in and have issues when in traffic.
