Pressing on axle bearing quick demo 

Nope. The inner race is supported on the driver. You can see I am spinning the outer race as it is sitting on it.

I cut a slot in the retaining ring with grinder, the hit with chisel to break off. Used the press to remove the bearing.

The retainer on this model has a slot and fits over the axle after is inserted intp the housing tube.

The seal goes in the axle tube. This is a sealed bearing separated from diff oil.
