I'm a DIY kind of guy. A maker with extensive curiosity.
An artist. An outdoorsman. A Nerd.
I love making and shooting bows.
Star Wars and lightsabers are a minor obsession.
Primitive tattooing is quickly becoming one.
But the variety will be endless, because I can't stand doing the same shit all the time.
If you like a little spice in your life then you're gonna love me.

As it relates to everything I love to do, I’ll offer a bit of unsolicited advice.
Other people will keep telling you why you can’t.

I don't smoke but I could try some mugwort for my sleeping problems. I recently cut down an old apple tree from my parents yard. It struggled for years and last winter rabbits ate all the bark so it didn't survive anymore. Also I have dremel that is just sitting and waiting to get some action. I've done some pipes before, but from green wood and just with a knife. Back when I smoked and rolled my tobacco. I was in the middle of the forest and ran out of papers. But with drill + dremel the end result will definitely be much cleaner. Thanks for the inspiration.

Making pipes is such a fun woodworking project. I get a lot of joy from them. Recently I’ve been making churchwardens. Should have a video on them soon. It's weird seeing neopixel with pin connectors they are now a flat contact connection
@EccentricArtisan

I remember when it first became popularized. I was initially very skeptical of string blades and then neopixel due to their low durability both in components and installation style. But it’s incredible how far everything came so quickly. And neopixel really is a great option now, even for rough play. The pin connector made everything next level as too.

@@COSMLOOP activated charcoal is still charcoal, so it is created in the same way as my other ink. But what may come into play is what material that charcoal was made with. I would hesitantly say that it is possible to create different colors using certain materials to make your charcoal. To my knowledge stuff that is advertised as activated charcoal that you can buy is often made with coconut shells or bamboo. I haven’t used either material.

Be careful advertising the use of bluejay and cardinal feathers. I'm fairly certain they are illegal to possess
@EccentricArtisan
@EccentricArtisan 4 месяца назад
You are correct. Both of those feathers are not legal to possess unless you have a special permit which most individuals cannot obtain. I find it to be a rather silly law since it is quite outdated. It was originally meant to crack down on the killing of migratory birds in North America more than a century ago. At the time Birds were frequently killed for the harvest of their skins in order to create fashion wear. This was seen as a serious threat to their populations, but obviously isn’t a regular practice now. Though I personally feel collecting feathers to be totally acceptable, it may have been prudent to share a disclaimer in the video.

@EccentricArtisan
@EccentricArtisan 5 месяцев назад
Nice! Thanks for watching them. Yes, but then you would lose some of the “working limb” length because the handle wouldn’t bend the same. It isn’t much, but it adds up. Essentially the rule of thumb is to have the total working limb length at 2x your draw length. If you break that rule by going shorter, you can damage or break a bow, especially at medium to high draw weights.

Is activated charcoal the same ?
@EccentricArtisan
@EccentricArtisan 4 месяца назад
Nope. Activated charcoal is just charcoal that has been created/processed in a specific way. Lamp black differs from charcoal because it is a super fine and oil rich version of charcoal powder. You can create charcoal by burning wood and then you can grind it to make powder. However, lamp black requires burning resin or highly resinous wood to collect the soot. Soot is much finer than charcoal dust and a bit different composition. Sorry for the late response. Never got a notification for whatever reason.

And if I snip the LED strip anywhere can it still work?
