Welcome to John Mayall on MV, a sub channel of Music Vault, where you can find our entire collection of live John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers videos in one location.
I saw John Mayall at Madera Speedway in Cali in 1975. What a concert, hotter than hell but kick ass bands...Rod Stewart and Faces, Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tower of Power, Maria Muldaur and others, but I was too fried to remember them. Fleetwood Mac was a no show. We got there at 10am and left after midnight with the jams still going, had a long haul back to Fresno. Sometimes I wonder how I'm still walking around this planet.
Tak, Mayall czuje bluesa ! Jest znakomity ! Ale ten blues w tych nagraniach jest za szybki ! Ile można by tu wydobyć dodatkowych wspaniałych brzmień !
Just a slight comment on my part,... At the end of Born Under a Bad Sign Albert King leaves the stage and at the 37:35 mark Mick Taylor starts to "let loose" but then Albert King comes back on stage and Mick discontinues what he was going to do. I have a good feeling that some real REAL GOOD NOTES was going to be played,.... BUT.... we could only imagine. : )
Good Evening, I am just wondering,... the song has been playing for 20 seconds shouldn't the guitarist gauge what key the song is already in?..... OR NOT NECESSARILY. : ) And another question,... If the guitarist is asking the bass player a question (pertaining to the song) then that probably means that the song was not rehearsed or the guitarist wasn't available for the rehearsal. Thank you.
yes, he should know the key, or figured it out after a few secs. i dont think this song was rehearsed with Mick, cause he works as a side man here. he just seems to be a little lost, looks stoned af :D @@gregggyf
Always liked John Mayall's music, and he always had good musicians with him.....Mick Taylor, Buddy Whittington, Coco Montoya, etc. I just wish somebody would buy John a fucking shirt. Those tank tops don't cut it.
Mick Taylor can make a song you've heard a hundred times by different artists somehow sound different.I don't think Exile on Main Street would be what it is without him.
