John was part of the 60s excitement and he introduced the blues to a whole bunch of young white kids. He also spawned some great musicians like McVie, Clapton, and Mick Taylor. He's still going strong in his 80s. So glad I got to see him a few years ago at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in FL.

Bons tempos. Valeu a postagem na íntegra. Forte abraço do Sul do Brasil.

Ha! JM was my main ma'an when I was a British army officer in Malaya in the 60s He, a civvy called Bob Dylan, and Jimmy Smith somehow sneaked into the NAAFI amongst the Herb Alpert's and the Swingle Singers, and I cranked up my early Dual 1019 and Sansui hifi to drown out my brother officers' regimental faces. Made me VERY unpopular! ..but after all these years he's still at it, having had a galaxy of stars pass through he Bluesbreakers .... Viva JM and the BBs!!

Gary Moore was great, but on again off again Mick Taylor is just as good. But actually I liked Peter Green, he had a magic that I never heard any other guitarist equal. He was more my age group as the fans a few years older prefered Eric Clapton. John Mayall's group was a revolving door of great musicians! I never knew what to expect as far as the lineup went but I always expected and got great music!
