Hi Laney. Great to have your tips and enthusiasm as I start this journey. I love you're social media wisdom! I'm a certified secondary school teacher in England. As I wander through videos to get started, I am noticing a lot of it is geared toward primary school kids. Do you have a sense of the market for high school kids? I teach geography here by the way. I know I could adopt things for younger kids if necessary but I'm curious about the older kids. Any thoughts or people you know who I could contact? Thanks very much! Cameron

Oh my gosh! This is my ultimate favorite video! My daughter will love you as her teacher. What is VIPKID? I keep hearing about this.. but I seriously loved this video! I know it was posted two years ago, but I’m just now finding out about Outschool and I’m hoping you’re still teaching because my daughter absolutely loves space! I’m planning on teaching art, but there’s sooo much info about Outschool and I’m trying to learn a lot before starting. Im trying to understand certain things like I saw there is a written/video section for the application process. Am I supposed to pretend I’m teaching a class or something?
Free alternative to canva: Gimp and/or Inkscape Similar to photoshop so its not drag and drop, cookie cutter templates, but it's very easy to learn and again, free.
Your video gave me so much inspiration! I currently homeschool my 2 children and use Outschool a lot for the subjects that are not my strong suit. I had no idea that you didn’t need a teaching degree to teach. I would love to possibly teach on outschool during nap time or on weekends to help my husband support my household.
wow most teachers in public school do not do any of what is required online. I use to be a public school teacher. Maybe they should work for outschool so they can see how it really is done. good job on your video.
I gave up driving for 2k a week only to find out I can barely get a student to sign up for a 30 minute class a week for $1 and no one ever gets me to where I have reviews.
Just found you. I’ve been binging all your content. I miss the energy and the unrehearsed content. I will say you now successfully replicate many top tier digital instructors. Amy Porterfirld and Marie Folio, being examples. I understand you must find joy in making the videos. Ironically I felt like you were a friend in the older videos. Totally connected with your vibe then. Super relateable. But, again this video has the proven formula to be successful. I’ve just seen to many of this type. Very grateful for what you’ve taught me. Thanks, I applied over a year ago. I was suppose to setup apt for an interview with a lesson prepared for it but rules have changed since then. My email I signed up with is full. I can't get messages. I'm not sure if I remember my login info but I could try logging in. I am wondering if I should reapply with a new email? I was able to submit class ideas at that time.
Vipkid does not refund students the remaining tuition fees for major courses, and many parents sued vipkid in China. I still have 150 major courses left, vipkid only withdraws 25 courses, I refused, waiting for the trial. Many of Chinese parents were cheated by vipkid, vipkid stole money. Be careful, vipkid maybe cheat you in the future. Mi Wenjuan is a THIEF.
Thanks for all the videos! Ive been on OS just short of a year and now making monthly income each week. Following your ideas on keywords and treating it like business was key. Do you have any further tips on enrollment? Im getting half filled each class but cant seem to get to 75 to 100 percent filled.
Looks like I'm late to the outschool game, but I taught my first class today and love it. Thank you for these videos, I'm learning so much as I post new classes.
I refused to start. I have 3 graduate degrees and certified in ESL. The interviewers were plain rude. They seem to be really resistant in hiring anyone new and extremely prejudiced against anyone with a degree. The first one just wanted me to take a second interview and the second interviewer was immature actually. She picked on my headset and then complained she could hear the street sounds. I live in a city as opposed to many of their tutors who are rich housewives living in the suburbs. I got up to make the windows tighter and when I came back, I saw her laughing at my apartment. What she could see was my organized bookshelf but she was laughing because I have a small place. Again, not all of us are of those rich housewives in mansions and thank god for that. I never wanted to be a housewife. Ever! So anyway just like that they lost a teacher with 3 graduate degree and will hire yet another uneducated person.

I think the resolution might be low because I can't see what you are showing either with the screen small or large. I absolutely need to stop OVER organizing.
