Do you still have the parent resource available ? I’ve been watching your part one and two about using nearpod and I would love the resource you offered when you filmed this !!! Such great info in these videos thank you so much !
Thanks so much for this information! So helpful! I've been looking for ways to take my classes to the next level (I'm really new to Outschool) and I think this is the answer. I'm excited to try this.
Yeah, you reached 1k 😊 Thanks for the info because it’s best to use one platform in class instead of clicking to diff sites. 🙂 if you could do how you create a flex class, it would be great. 💕
Excited to try this. I was wondering how to go from Zoom to Nearpod back to Zoom but that seems like to much toggling. I hope to get everything I need in Nearpod. I wanted to read a story at the end of my lesson however I just havent quite figured that out yet. Any suggestions?
My first suggestion would be to make sure that you have permission from the publisher to read that story in your class. If it is one you create yourself though, you can make the slides through canva and then move them to Nearpod and read them just like a normal slideshow!
That’s a good question 😹 I’m really bad about creating a class listing, but not having the slides prepared beforehand. I usually request it and then take a few days or so to create the slideshow before I actually list a time to book it!
Unfortunately, when I record using Zoom, I am not able to change the size of my picture view. I think it is more important to see my screen and what I am sharing then to see my face :)
Laney Goff 😂 I was looking at it on my phone and the nearpod stuff you were sharing looked small.....sorry but I wasn’t asking about making your face bigger, no offense.
It would be such a tremendous help to know.. what size/template you use to create images in canva to transfer them over to the various parts of Nearpod. time to climb images, matching, etc.
I have a problem with this - none of the things from google slides / Canva convert exactly into Nearpod.... because if the google slide is animated, it doesn't work that way in nearpod. I cannot play a youtube video through nearpod without the student being the one to hit play - If I want to have it play for them it's not possible in nearpod, it must be switched back to google slides. I am just trying to figure out a doable way to have my cake and eat it too - I want the abilities of nearpod, but also the abilities of google slides. Does this exist?
Hmmm. I don’t have that problem. I have a number of GIFs and videos in my new Climb or Slime class. I use Canva instead of Google Slides though. I create everything in Canva and the slides that have a GIF or video I save it has a MP4 and upload a video slide in nearpod!
@@LaneyGoff I love your videos and will be using your referral link when I apply because your videos have been great! I do have a question though. I don't understand how you create your slides on Canva and move them to Nearpod. I created my slides and moved them to Nearpod, but my gifs don't work (I tried saving as a MP4, but then the slide is a video. I'd like it to be a slide like my other slides so it all matches. Also once I upload them from Canva to Nearpod, can I not edit the slides adding in Nearpod functions? When I click on the slide in Nearpod, it's just a picture and I can't add any of Nearpod's functions. I'd appreciate your help!! :)
Hey Michelle! I’m so sorry I didn’t see this before now! Please feel free to send me an email if you are applying with my link! I have a ton of resources for you! And I could personally show you some of the answers to your questions!! ❤️
