Join me on some gold prospecting adventures in Southern Oregon and beyond! We'll be prospecting, detecting, sluicing, sniping, and crevicing from California to BC.
Notice at 3 min what's also growing with that small tree on the spot where he finds that chunky gold. Thats not a coincidence in my opinion. Certain ferns will selectively grow where high mineralization (especially arsenopyrite) occurs in order to detoxify the biology around it. So I would pay close attention to where small trees & ferns are growing along creeks as a possible signs. There is also good empirical evidence to suggest that nano/micron gold is concentrated by bacteria & fungi at the roots of plants & trees, which explains the presence of chunkier gold when you pan out these areas. So it’s not just crevices, it’s biology too! ru-vid.comImnWg3Dr24g?si=rTRjtrfwkOkytbfR
Nice👍. Did you camp there or stay at a motel? I have been looking for a place to camp where i can do some panning. I don't like campgrounds. I prefer to find my own little spot in the woods.
You guys are throwing away alot of your hard work back into the river. Those sluices dont catch much if any at all of the flower gold ' it makes up alot of gold' Also the highbanker is tilted too much, nit giving the gold as much time to drop and through the sluice. I would recommend a secondary trap where it all falls... Or invest in a goldcube with a trommel. Youll catch 100% of what you send through it if set up right
That day I think it was around .3g, so maybe $20 or so. Making a living on gold is tough, almost impossible just panning in the US, unless you have a heck of a good spot
EPA is a joke. They filled the south yuba with truck loads of dirt. Unclean Muddy water to decimate the fish population and blame it on the recreation miner. These librals are sick to the core.🇺🇸👍⛏️
Damn you are blessed. When I saw the description of "record gold nugget" I thought maybe you found one bigger than that jumbo nugget you found last year. But still an awesome nugget 👍
