Mine has all the original parts from 1952 even the tires where the tubes still hold air even the generator Starter distributor all original 72 years old and works fine. The engine is the original the odometer still reads 22,917 miles on it after it was parked in 1974 according to military maintenance records found on it. Mine was not rusted at all because it lived its entire life in a dry desert climate. Still using the original fuel tank just drained the old gas and refilled it with fresh gas and added a new electric fuel pump and filters to help the original Mechanical fuel pump. * months ago I bought mine ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U_bYTSedPCs.htmlsi=_avvwbP6vNpvjR41
I got an original 1952 U.S. Army Dodge 3/4t 4x4 M37 8 months Ago and finally got it running on my 35 part of my rebuild. The Army used it as a parts vehicle even the drive shafts were removed. @ min 23.34 The color pattern from light blue on top and the darker blue under was the exact same color pattern i had on my 1966 power wagon wm300. I always thought someone just painted over the factory dark blue but now i wonder because as i said it is absolutely the same as mine. Very interesting.
It's made by Wolfbox. It's a G840H. I got it from Amazon, and I find that it works very well. There are options on how you install it- I ordered the hardwire kit, instead of using the cigarette lighter port for power.
I have a u.S. Army 1952 M37 I am restoring with the original flat head 6 L . Here in Nevada these can not be used as daily drivers thanks to legislation pushed through by the previous Democratic Governor. It can only be registered for shows and off road use.
I have a 52', I'm cool with putting a 4BT, disks and PS in mine but this is too far. At some point I'm just going to fit a bench seat in it, I have some in mind that would fit.
