Heron didn't invent the concept of "i," The imaginary unit "i," representing the square root of -1, emerged much later, around the 16th century, when mathematicians like Gerolamo Cardano, Rafael Bombelli, and others developed complex numbers while working on solutions to polynomial equations.
If much of the good in human society was based on, or derived from evil, is it then still good? I think if the argument for humanity to deserve existence is "because there is good in it", then the same way the argument can be made that humanity does not deserve to exist "because there is evil in it".
Funny enough i doubt sean strickland is much of a psychopath. Possibility of manipulation by false emotions taken, he seems genuinely emotional about his upbringing and rough patches and actually letting other men know that doesn't make you a pansy.
The ending of this story pisses me off so much. This is exactly a question I've had for so long. What happens if you isolate a human? What in human nature is taught? And what is naturally given? And it pisses me off that she wasn't taken care of. Why did everyone seem so blind? Why was it even allowed for her to be isolated for a summer? Someone who criticality needs exposure God I'm so angry about this story
The example of ranking words from most to least positive? I mean come on only a psychopathic lDIOT wouldn’t be able to do this properly. Any psychopath with even an ounce of sense could deduce that laughter is “good” & cancer is “not good,” even if the words don’t produce emotional value, we all know what the words mean
How did this guy think the troubled kid being stoned is a case of the village getting rid of the psychopath, instead of thinking that the people who stone a trouble kid are the actual psychopaths 😂 I’m starting to think YOURE the psycho bro…
oh yeah…you can totally adapt to pain. not saying anyone suffering isn’t real but for some pain like burning sensation if you expect to feel the pain but not really burned (like 60c-100c stuff) you can totally get away with touching hot stuff (just be quick, the hotter it is the less time it takes to injure you, I would say a ball park of every 10C increase halfs the time it takes to injure you) This is not even just me printing ABS and often handle fresh prints (60-100c). baristas handle hot drinks that are above 60c so regularly they don’t even flinch
So, where is the experiment showing/proving the actual curvature of the Earth? Rhetorical... there isn't one. Think with all the fuss 'flat Earth' has gotten, some university, agency or scientific institution would drop a couple hundred k to prove, with science, the fact of the matter- But they haven't... ever.
But this is this is scientific racism mixed with crazy people believing they are being scientific when what they are really doing is having a psychotic episode or a panic attack
Why does not spinning give him extra 8%? If he didn't spin after round 1, then he just eliminated a safe turn, so now shouldn't it be 3/5 win, 2/5 lose? the 2/3 and 1/3 ratios were ACTUALLY 4/6 and 2/6, because you have 4 safe rounds and 2 unsafe out of 6 chambers, so by using a safe chamber, you decreased the total amount of chambers you can spin and decreased the amount of safe chambers, and because the amount of safe rounds is smaller than the total amount of chambers, the 1 chamber makes a smaller difference in the total amount compared to the safe amount. (4-1)/(6-1) = 3/5. Who of us is wrong and why?
