this video is kinda sad for my case because it very clearly says that I can't cursordanceaim if I want to improve :( but ok i'll try to focus more on the note individually till i'm actually decent at the game
When i started playing my friend send me a bunch of maps, farm and non farm maps. But he always thought me not to play high star rating, but to lock on low star ranking and try to fc with high acc. So thats what i did, and i think I improved more naturally that way. I still cant stream lol. I think low rank players play like that because they think those maps look cool, but i honestly dont like playing something i can barely hit.
I know this video was posted 4 years ago, but my area is 22.5 mm (placed at the bottom left corner) and I just started playing.... Probably a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. I can already do a 3 star level :D
I still wish I knew what the numbers inside the notes mean, especially with streams and bursts because they often run from 1 to 16 then start again from 1. Even some long jump patterns go from like 1 to 10.
I just started using tablet today, and immediately did the hovering technique 😂. But, I’m gonna try dragging too to see which technique I like better. Though, I think hovering is my comfortability
I figured the individual focus on the circles recently but when I did I was so happy, although this video really helped to remind me that and confirm it.
I hover bc its natural for me, its like, my grip, naturally, adapted to a dinamic tripod grip at the first second, and also i stared hovering, even if i tried to not, but well, im more comfortable this way XD (I lit only drag for selecting songs, and it alr got a bit scratched in only A WEEK, i have the xp pen star g630, i will prob buy a protector in some time, but not for now, lit the shipping and the cover prize will cost me more that the actual tablet on amazon XD
i always found it weird for people going way too ahead of themselfs i spent so much time playing 3 stars 4 stars that ive basicly master them and then i hear comments in multi "how are you getting 99% acc on this" "you're cracked" because i got a 600 combo on a 6 star kinda goofy that people really don't know how to get better at something
Glad I wasn't attracted to the aim and jump plays. what you said was true tho. I am a fairly new player and I have been playing songs that I like and some that sounds good. I even got surprised that many loved maps offered large amounts of variety. I'm glad I followed a player in the world chat's advice to play the game as you like it and not get involved in the meta + the farmer syndrome. I'm playing cuz I love osu (currently a 3-4 star player)
The problem is i have no consistency, one night i was able to smoothly clears these 8 burst stream with 100% accuracy, while some night i missed them all. Granted i do hard labor using hand in the day and play osu at night, so hand condition is different depending on the day

sorry but this is useless, i have been following for a couple of years didnt see results, barely able to do 220 been stuck at 200 for 2 years now no guide is useful for me, i have over 1k hours in the game and followed every single guide you can find on youtube and reddit and i couldnt improve my speed and stamina i just cant tap fast enough, guess the game isnt for me
I started playing osu on the begining of 2021, and i have to agree witch every word in this video, i had exactly the same porblem, 1000pp and accuracy on 81% level. Pepolpe are playing jumps on the begining hc its alot easier than some finger control shit
