What we do is talk about basketball players from the past and present that could've, should've or would've had better careers had A,B or C not happen to them. In basketball, many of us go through "Growth Stunts" in our careers that can either derail us and we fall off the map, cause us to refocus and come back stronger or send us down a path where we discover our true calling in life. Either way, I'm here to teach younger players what NOT to do in order to avoid said "Growth Stunts" and have successful basketball careers through documenting what went wrong in these popular players careers through my eyes. While also highlighting past players that people forgot, who were really good! There's also a series where I talk about players that weren't expected to be great, but became just that. It's called "Growth Spurt". Also on my youtube channel below. THANKU!
The problem is... if you are a 6'6"power forward, you need to have freakish athleticism like Zion or be as good as Barkley. I like Lofton, and I hope he gets a chance but it's gonna be tough.
I always had a different theory. Jordan's gambling habits that started to make front page news at the time, had something to do with his pseudo retirement. Who knows, but like you, I definitely didn't buy the original PR stunt.
at 8:34 please tell me in real life did the real pat riley smoke AT ALL i didn't don't and won't have anything AT ALL against smoking but it should NOT be done indoors UNLESS it's a place like a low bob's tobacco and i am were and/or PROBABLY will be a WEEKLY cigar smoker
This is 100% why I almost feel bad about still watching the NBA- black lists seem to be well named cuz only on 'em. Don't need black lives matter on jerseys as much as less of black listing the troublesome ones who ain't really seem like they were all that much trouble and were winning, fired on dumb stuff.
Stunt #1 is inaccurate because Mercer could flat out shoot put back in those days the mid-range is where it was most important to make shots and the three-point shot wasn't even that big of a thing in the NBA at that time. I think a lot of you younger guys think that the NBA was always about chucking up dumb 3-point shots but it wasn't. When he played the game was headed that way but in no way shape or form was it already there
I think Ron Mercer simply developed interests outside of basketball that made him a lot of money and he chose to go that route instead of being in a profession where you have so little control of your career path
Kung gagayahin ni kai Sotto ung laro ni blatche na mahusay sa dribbling ability in and outside eh malamang makuha na sya sa NBA parang katulad ng ginagawa ni wenbayama
You know what? I always wondered how it’s possible to have a draft every year!? But the crazier part is that it all works out in the end! Because so many players get drafted YET only a handful are truly successful in the league and stay In the league. A lot of players either go down to Gleague or china 😳 it’s just insane thinking about how ur dream is to be in the nba and once you get there, you just aren’t good enough to stay
anyone who has ever driven in Sacramento knows how easy it is to get into a car accident because of someone else's recklessness. That game against J Kidd and Cal was a classic game
I respect Jokic but the humble narrative is crazy IIRC he picked himself self on a allstar team when Lebron and curry coached he just walked on bron team that aint exactly humble.
you did growth spurt about him last year! lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zF3WDuGL6E0.htmlsi=tJkAqXRAufuxAbwg I see why. You should do growth spurt on Jalen Brunson
It seems like the only reason he didn't win 4 MVPs in a row is because people were looking at any reason to give it to someone else. Like this guy's eaten a couple seasons in a row. Let's give someone else some shine.
