When I lived in OKC I used to see DC ALL the time. The game wouldn’t even be finished yet and him & James Harden would be at the club 😂 shit was hilarious. He was cool af tho
I work with a very close childhood of Deaquan"s and he's always telling me stories of how they grew up rough in Dayton. Him & DC really made it out the mud💪🏾
@@johndavis9321 Agreed John, They know LeBron, but never heard of Esteban Weaver. And he has his own documentary. Older fans kno of him, but his basketball lore over this area has since faded......
Do one for Patrick McCaw, Jerry West’s golden boy saying teams will be “sorry they didn’t take him” been out of the league since 2021 and ghosted the Warriors due to lack of PT and didn’t get much elsewhere.
Dude has four rings though. 3 in the NBA. Sign him and you know you are winning it all. So West found a winner. West biggest disappointment was Jerome Robinson
Y'all people got the memory of a goldfish. what are you talking about he was nice his first 3 years at Miami? He averaged under 10 points per game his first 3 years in the nba And he wasn't nice at Ohio State either the last month he was horrible as the guy mentioned in the video and averaged under 10 points per game as a freshman.🤦🏿♂️
@@WakethBakethI didn't, I wasn't impressed with him in college. The next Ray Allen is a hilarious comparison. The fact that you thought he would be the next Ray Allen I have to question your basketball IQ 🤦🏿♂️

Crazy how Mike Conley is the best player mentioned in this video. Also hope you're okay, bro. We'll be waiting for you when you see about your family and make sure they're good
Frankly he was an early example of a undersized swingman. More of a SF than a SG. Didn't get many touches. Kindoff like Eddie Johnson but shorter and with inconsistent shot. In Miami he had his best playing alongside Wade. To his credit in OKC he had to compete with Durant and Harden for playing time.
Getting drafted to the Heat with DWade didn't help. He was never going to be anything other than a back-up 2 there, which probably made the coaches have him double down on being a spot-up guy instead of trying to invest the time to develop him.
JJ Reddick would dribble the ball more, help the PG to run the offense etc he was a pure SG then with the years his shot selection was improved and his shot became more consistent.
@@user-vw1vf5cw7d Look again. He almost never put the rock on the floor. He put the ball on the floor more at Duke than he ever did in the League. I was a season ticket holder for the Sixers I saw it with my own eyes.
@@christiangriffin4452 okay you should be right then ! It's another thing to watch some games from a screen and a different thing to watch each game a few feet from the players
@@user-vw1vf5cw7dcoming out of high school you would have banked on him bring a combo guard with a strap. He was like that. He was the leading scorer on a aau team with Oden Conley mcroberts and Eric Gordon
This is a hot take try making a stundted growth video about j cross over i know his elite and multiple time 6th man but his ceiling was a super star player Also david lee, al jefferson and leon powe are good stunted growth videos
Lol he wasn't supposed to be a superstar at all. He was like the third option on his college team. Even in college no one thought of him as a superstar.
Facts. I literally never heard anyone ever mention DC and superstar in the same sentence. I know this is just content however can we not make everybody a failed superstar to dramatize their alleged failure because outside of him and his circle nobody thought he was or was going to become a superstar.
