My channel is mostly about offroading, from fourwheelers and dirtbikes I've had in the past, to my current vehicles. As of now it's about my Honda 400ex and Ford ranger, because those 2 are the for sure keepers.
This made me laugh my ass off. I appreciate this. If have done this in high school. When you get older you use other devious methods that can't ignite the house on fire or but up the downspout. Maybe go feom the other side, ur just use brake clean and a bee suit
@@Mattgx2012 I bought a 2009 f150 in 2017 with 107k on it. This has been a great truck, I did have to replace the fuel pump relay, a transmission sensor and a few other sensors ,but just general maintenance a few seals and gaskets brakes n rotors. It has 199k on it. The tranny does at times downshift hard that's starting to worry me a bit .
One thing to keep in mind when the bike is running if it's idled up too high you try to put it in gear it will grind gears there's a difference between a bike that will go in to gear and then make noise is more likely the chain is loose causing it to skip teeth but if your bike goes into gear and you go to throttle into it and it makes a grinding noise but not your internal chain in your transmission I just don't want to see anyone waste their time and labor if this was not the issue Just thought to put that out there That's a lot of work to pull a transmission to find out there's nothing wrong with it so before attempting to pull your transmission turn the idle down first then see if it hops in the gear some of these bikes actually had a transmission break to stop it from rotating until you were in the gear
Mine was just rebuilt and sounds like that. I’ve heard tons of people say they just sound like that. Mine sounds like that I’ve been ripping on it all day it’s fine if it breaks it breaks fix it but until then ride the piss out of it.
That’s what I’m saying, they seemed really chill compared to other videos of them sounding angry as hell buzzing like crazy and swarming around everywhere lol
I had 250 and 400, both 1997 and fun but differently. The 250 was fast, nimble corners, lighter. The 400 faster, wheelies, heavier, more power. I miss both...lol P.S. AWESOME side wheelie!
Also do not use automotive RTV. Use OEM Polaris gear case RTV sealant or three bond 1215 or Hondabond 4 . These sealant dry semi hard only, for added vibration of ATVs.
