Thank you for watching and please subscribe to be alerted when the next release is posted.
Thank you for the tour. Love touches of the Nordhavn design: galley on the starboard side (head on the port side), berth/head behind the pilot house, and when you can find it twin main engines
I couldn’t find engine hours for generator hours, that’s a good indication she’s wore out . For the kind of money, they’re asking 540,000. This vessel should be perfect for crying out loud. They probably paid that back in 2000 !
User: We never put the price or hours in our videos since the videos never come down and those numbers can change. The price is in the description and the hours are on our website, www.JMYS.com. Brand new in 2000 it would have been a lot more than $540,000. Good news for you, it may be too late, Grey Goose is under contract.
@@JeffMerrillYachts That’s OK I just pass up ads like yours all the time. I’m currently working with a broker that we’re working on a deal right now anyway so yes, that is good news for me. FYI, all you have to do is put “SOLD” after you sell it and you’re allowed and it’s OK to disclose important factors that prospective buyer wants to see immediately .
Jon: Not mandatory, I wish we could do it more actually. We like to stay in touch with our clients and help out after the sale. Now, for insurance, often a licensed captain is necessary, that is different. Our service is more supplemental coaching and a "safety net" to review anything they haven't tried yet or want more practice with. Thank you for watching.
The people who designed and built this yacht definitely knew what they were doing - I've seen walk through tours of larger boats that had less usable space. Congratulations to the new owners!
3767: I can't look at the music either, but I like the way it sounds. Kidding aside, mute the music and enjoy the video. This particular video is 5 years old now, and I appreciate you taking the time to comment, but we aren't changing the music and i don't recall anyone else finding it objectionable. Thank you for watching
Typically in a video when I'm looking for a boat I want to see the person walking from room to room so you can understand the exact layout of the boat. You definitely don't want jump cuts In the editing where the scene begins with the gentleman already in the room each time, so you really have no grass whatsoever of how the boat is laid out. All you really know is that each time the boat is gorgeous but that ain't giving you the picture whatsoever
What a gorgeous boat. From the video it just looks like it has a high level of craftsmanship and woodworking. I got to say, though this video was disorienting. Lucky for this boat's broker, the boat is gorgeous and doesn't need a well done video to make it look appealing.
I'm not sure I agree, they are so different. The 56 is an offshore, ocean crossing monohull sailboat - with an exceptional diesel propulsion package that has amazing range. Are you suggesting a 42' sailboat or 42' catamaran that is an alternative to the motorsailer?
Hi Wilson I just saw of Episode 6 and it brought on many memories. It would be nice if we could get together in the near future, Let me know your traveling plans in the US Ron Turner
Xanth was what got me into SciFi/Fantasy as a kid but his particular style and punization of all was a contribution to aspects of my reading and writing I can't begin to describe or understand and it makes me wonder who's boat this was considering....bout everything boat it
Good tour, as usual, but I've noticed lately that the usual information i.e. engine rating, fuel capacity, electronics etc. is lacking. Is this by design or an oversight???
Michael: Thank you for watching. Olympia changed hands a couple of years ago. When we had her listed we did have the full spec sheet up on our website, www.JMYS.com. We also try to include some of the details like engine brand, horsepower, fuel capacity in our videos, but don't include things that can change like hours and price.
Thank you Jeff, Trawlerfest Anacortes seems to be much more interesting than the recent Stuart shows. It is fun to see boats like the Doggersbank and the Seapiper. I remember when there were some unusual boats at the Florida Trawlerfest, but not recently. Best, Maldwin
@@JeffMerrillYachts I remember seeing Malcolm Forbes "Highlander" docked in Ft Lauderdale back in the 80's and this very much reminds me of that yacht and not only in name. It would make a great liveaboard for a couple.
@@JeffMerrillYachts I understand, but in the salon? Furniture maybe, I am just specifically commenting about the overhead handrails that so many of you 6 foot + people always point out after you talk about how much headroom you have. Not much use to us short people. I have to grab a countertop or something. And just for the record, I think you have the most informative walk-throughs and website. You do fantastic work at promoting Trawler Life and boating life in general. I am not trying to be critical, just pointing out a problem for me. You do good work. Thanks
Charlie: We never include the hours (main just under 4,000) or price ($660,000.00) in our videos because they can change over time. We publish these important details along with photos and the description on our website www.JMYS.com where we can keep things current. Thank you for your comment.
Tanga: Not sure why you would say that, I find them very practical for soaking in soap on one side and rinsing on the other. Many trawler galleys prefer double sinks. Of course if this is the only issue you have, it would be easy to change out to a single basin. What type of boat do you have?
Dade: Thank you for watching and commenting. We try to give a lot of information so that it is easier to understand the vessel. Yes, learned long ago that headroom dimensions are very important, especially to those who stand tall!
Chandra: The price is in the description and we also post it on our website, JMYS.com with photos, layouts, descriptions, etc. Is that what you are asking when you say budget cost? She is $660,000.00. Please feel free to contact Eric@JMYS.com if you would like to know more and see her in person. Thank you.
