im 32 and have never been a runner, recently I've tried to start jogging and a few minutes into running these muscles obliterate my desire to run. I'm just gonna guess its an issue of these muscles essentially never have been used and If I keep up with it, it will fix itself hopefully.
This is exactly the situation I have on my left wrist at the base of the thumb. I have this annoying and sometimes bothering pain syndrome for a while now, but managing my day to day activities almost normally. I had this tendon damage during chopping a lot of onions, and immediately I knew why I had developed this pain all on a sudden without any plausible reason otherwise. This video demonstration unequivocally confirmed my diagnosis without visiting any MD professionals, and without listing to their big mouth and fake talk of patient care. Thus I saved a lot of money and time by following my own instincts. Tendon(s) is a soft tissue. Natural damage repair of soft tissues requires persistent presence of Vitamin C in our system. In addition to taking some practical measures, I will start taking Vitamin C everyday until the pain and a little swelling is completely gone in weeks to come. Always remember "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" . Thank you very much!
Thank you! Just finding out aftwr 20 years of cheonic mid back pain and doing every modality in existence im 99% sure my fascia is the problem area and modern medicine almsot doesnt acknowledge its existence
So I used to have ATP with right side si joint pain. I started to sit a lot and hunch over which gave me rounded shoulders reversed cervical lordosis and sway back. So my pelvis is foward and kinda posterior tilted. I have a lot of muscle imbalances. My hip flexors are definitely elongated and soft.Im pretty weak. A lot of tightness and stiffness in my upper back and neck. My neck is pretty weak as well. Should I start with this and then progress from there? What should I do next
I'm a golfer and started experiencing a sharp throbbing pain in my right hamstring..or so I thought. Thank you for the very informative video. Clearly my issue is neural since I have complete mobility in my thigh but lower back pain from playing golf
I just dignosed with myofacial pain syndrome. my thumb and indexfinger is numb. there are sharp pain on my upperback. pain is like small rock is touching nerve. constant pain and with movement it get's worse. try to take clothes out of washing machine lean down to reach deep washing machine, that really hurts. I can't wash face properly.
is there a way to easily determine the difference between this and carpal tunnel syndrome? I've watched both of your videos and the discomfort/pain im feeling somewhat feels like it could be either
Hi! Thank you for this video. I answered yes to all the initial questions, however, I have Si joint pain (it's chronic). Does it still count as flexion intollerance? It really gets bad when I'm sitting for too long and then I'm standing up, or when I take long walks.
Thanks OMNE Chiropractic for this video! It described my symptoms exactly, provided a diagnostic test to confirm, and provided a treatment plan all in three minutes. Much appreciated!
Hey man, great video. I’m an ATC and i have a Men’s LAX athlete with a swollen area right proximal to listers tubricle. He keeps on getting checked there with the stick and it is causing “squeaking”. Yes he is an athlete who does a lot of wrist extension flexion superation pronation in the nature of lacrosse. But have you seen this happen with a blunt force to the area? Causing swelling and thus causing squeeking
I haven’t seen it in this area but just had a posterior tib tendinitis that complained of grinding. My belief is that it’s related to inflammation / irritation in the tendons and then it creates friction. With your athlete it seems like protecting it while the inflammation calms down and see if that helps.
Thank you. There’s defiantly a golf ball sized welt on the dorsal aspect of the interosseous membrane of the distal radius about 6-10 mm proximal to the listers tub. And every time he extends/flex his wrist or and supination/pronation I can feel grinding, squeaking on assessment. Problem is he is a High School athlete and plays 3 games a week. I just gave him manual therapy, taped it/ iced it/nsaids. And gave him home exercises. But thank you for the response
@@OMNEchiropracticthis was an acute hit to the area combine with a minor wrist sprain. It is more proximal than a presentation of a ganglion cyst. However, since he is a lacrosse player, that does a lot of flexion extension, pronation separation of his wrist, combined with an acute hit to the area with inflammation could present as intersection syndrome. Is what I’m thinking.
@@OMNEchiropracticended up getting tendon transfer surgery few weeks ago, hopefully rehab goes well and fixes the issue. Sucks being only 34 and an avid lifter and having these issues so early.
Thank you. It doesn’t sound too easy a fix? Esp when anti inflammatory meds aren’t possible and GP doesn’t recommend steroid injection. What’s the bar called again please?
Been having issues for years. I’m going to ask my doctor next physical. Tissues in legs hurt. Not all the time but when pressed on. The pain hurts but feels good at the same time. But I have pain everywhere also in arms, butt, and shoulders. I massage when I can. I’m not highly active but don’t just sit around. But with age I have slowed down. I do stretches and mild exercises but maybe I have to do more? Nothing seems to work. 40 yrs old and seems to get worse with age. Thanks for video.
Myofascial pain syndrome is characterized by the Myofascial trigger point. It is the Hallmark for Myofascial pain syndrome. It can only be diagnosed by systematic palpation.
I also have it. Mine was caused by using a 4lb mash hammer when breaking concrete. This added to the tennis elbow I already suffer from. Mine also creaks when moving it. 🤢.
back in the day i would snort 80mg oxycontin, my drug of choice for 12-15 years. every so often i would crush one up, sniff the whole thing. i was up to 5-7 80s a day. i would occasionally get these headaches that would literally be like a migraine, and I would have to cancel my day. I would have to take aspirin, and like literally lay down then in hopes that it would go away wake up, and I have to start all over again it was that bad and I never previously suffered from headaches and the thing that was confusing is how could that be happening if I’m taking the strongest fucking opiate pill out there at the time it was so weird and then a doctor explained it to me. I asked him the same thing how could that be possible and he told me all about it I’m not bragging I’m embarrassed, but that’s the truth that’s what happened I used to abuse the shit out of them and I was in love with them. It was the best and worst day of my life when I found out that they were being reconfigured, but now everything is fentanyl now anyway. that shit was no joke
My left shoulder blade was covered in knots and now has spread all over my back into my legs. Pulling from all directions. Knots in jaw wrists butt knee I'm so tight some days muscles don't move. Wake up in the night so stiff like anstaye alot of pain. I'm in Ontario Canada and no doctors are helping me. Except pain med. I've spent a fortune on massage and everyday I roll on the ball breaking up knots. Almost makes it worse burning and can't move. feels like all my fascia swelled up and is constricting my whole body. Not sure how much longer I have to still walk
Good video, easy to understand. Though it seemed mostly aimed at inactive/sedentary people. I am a carpenter and have had issues with the scapula for 5 years and it must be overuse/dyskinesis or both 😊 thanks for the help on my little journey of understanding the problem
I think your assessment of the video is correct. In your case, it would be more about balancing use with your job and maybe focusing on different rehab exercises to better prepare your shoulder girdle for the work.
Dry needling and muscle re-education is really all you need. The practitioner seems to leave out myofascial trigger points almost always become chronic and sensitize the central nervous system causing allodynia , hyperalgesia and the spread of pain to unaffected areas . Myofascial pain becomes increasingly difficult to treat is left untreated
What happens if this condition is left undiagnosed and untreated for 30 years? Now physical therapy is impossible and the levels of pain from a few affected areas is off the chart and even causing fainting. How do I go about getting treatment? And what treatment is required now after all these years?
I've tried everything that is supposed to help. My body does not care. My muscles are full of marbles that are indestructible. I went Wayyyy to hard in my youth. I was extreme in Everything I did. I worked in tree removal for over 15 years as a no limit climber and was an absolute beast. I've experienced countless incidents of trauma. Now I'm mid 40s and keep telling myself "Well, the good news is I can't live forever" there is now no quality of life . Multiple surgeries on my hands and arms. Two very Invasive Carpal tunnel surgeries ,cubital tunnel and ulnar nerve transposition and then a posterior interosseous nerve decompression surgery. All those surgeries have run their course and the nerve damage is progressing. I've been advised that there is no useful reason to revisit the surgeries and just accept the loss of function as the nerves slowly die... I'm ok with that. It's the marbles that make me want to fall asleep and never wake up.. I've not experienced "comfort" in so long that I don't even remember what it's like.. and thank god I have no reference point because thinking of that would only make it worse. The depression and psychological effects are just as bad as the unrelenting pain that is existing. It never goes away, there is no break. It's ALWAYS there. My muscles feel like they are from a person half my size and stretched over my skeleton. I've been to an absurd amount of doctors and specialists and chiropractors. So much physical therapy it's insane. Every doctor/physical therapist is blown away how my muscles are so tight and filled with marbles. I've been apologized to many times with things being said like "I'm truly sorry you're going through this but there isn't anything I can do to help you. Your muscles haven't responded to anything that we can do" or some variation of that.. The only thing keeping me on this earth is the wife, kids, and grandkids. I can't imagine what I'm gonna be in 20 years other than an emasculated bitter Angy useless old man that no on wants to be around.. I'd rather be a memory of when I still had some of my soul left and something to offer. There is only so much "Man the fuck up" in ones gastank.. when that's gone the pain feeds off your soul.. stealing it bit by bit day by day til eventually there will be nothing left but an empty husk of the person you used to be completely unrecognizable from the person you used to be... . Sorry for the rant.
Man, for the past couple of years I've been searching on youtube every couple of months or so for solutions to my lower back pain. I've been to different therapists and a chiropractor. This is the first 'exercise' that has instantly given me relief - I'll go through your videos and look for more guidance, but thanks a lot for this in any case!
If you are currently experiencing acute pain from a herniated disc, I don't think this is probably the best exercise for you. It would be a more advanced exercise and one I use with patients suffering from residual tightness and guardedness in their back. With that being said, you can always try it and see if it helps.
I'm not sure either I have this but whatever you think helps. When I wake up I'm fine but as the day starts I start feeling awful. When I lift my arms it feels so tight like I did 100 push-ups even putting my daughters hard in a ponytail is alot on my arm muscles. When I walk for about 5 to 10 steps my leg muscles feel like I did 20 squats and they feel like they wanna give out. It feels like a weakness but I can get up from the floor, chair and lift things with no problem. When I sit, lay down or even stand I feel it come on like a electricity going through my body. It seems like my body is gonna go through a shock. I don't get enough sleep at nights I get up with aching back and sometimes to my legs. I get the tingling that wakes me up and I try to sleep it off. I am low on vitamin d, iron, b12 and magnesium. I am taking vitamins to help raise my levels but the problem is that feeling and that whole tension electric shock going through my whole body.
Thanks for sharing your story, Stacey. This video is not intended for medical advice and given the complexity of your case you should consult with your physician.

I took lots of pain medicine this last year because I had surgery on my shoulders. My pain for my shoulders stoped so I stoped taking pain meds. A couple weeks later I have a headache that will not go away. Not sure if it’s because of a rebound pain or what.
