Interim housing rarely works. Why do you say that is real change? Every time I hear about these temporary housing, people get bullied and kicked out. That is Truth coming from an elderly woman living in her car for 7 years. No addictions or mental health conditions. I grew up on the border of the Vietnam war 5-10yo. I have worked hard for these 7 years to reconcile and heal. Asked for help and have experienced cruel bullying, discrimination and, in 1 yr I was given 6 vouchers to help supplement my rent which would have gotten me out of homeless permanently.
