Hey nice video i was using a stem and handlebar combo with stem 100 and handlebar was a compact , but the metron 5d 120mm measures the same is it cause they measure different??
I bought one in a couple years ago. They seem to have no more website and social media…now I have nobody to contact. Does anyone have any leads? I’m trying to get ahold of someone from that company.
I just got one of theses and can't get it to put air into a Presta valve with the adapter on. Was there a trick? I'd opened the valve first, but nothing depresses the plunger. It pressurizes the hose up to the vale and that's about it.
I have a pair of CX402, the previous version, and they are fantastic shoes. With 21K km on them they are still going strong. I find that Lake cycling shoes fit normal width feet very well and they also offer wide versions. Most othe high end cycling shoe brands fit narrow so that even if you go up a size, they don't fit well. The other nice thing about Lake is that they are one of the few brands that offer Speedplay 4 bold dedicated cycling shoes. Once you figure out the correct size with Lake, you can purchase other shoes using the same size, and they will fit reasonably the same. Both my CX402 and CX175 fit very similar in the same number size. Good luck with the larger size.
Thank you so much your video set my mind at ease. I too have Velosurance, after a bad wreck that totaled my bike I needed to put in a claim. Still waiting to see how they are going to help me out.
Pros and cons to everything in life. Everyone is different. Do what works for you. Some people like just riding around outside. I like following a plan indoors with erg. It makes me feel time efficient and clinical. Compared to just riding around, plan makes me train all systems at supposedly scientific levels and lowers the risk of overtraining. Compared to outside, which often involves coasting, indoors with erg makes me feel like I have more quickly accumulate the desired "Y watts for X minutes". Moreover, 100% of the time indoors is at the prescribed workload. Outdoors, even though I've been accused of being a metronome, I find it nearly impossible to stay within the prescribe range. Outside, I've had intervals where I've nailed the prescribed average watts exactly but spent 0% of the interval within the prescribed range. Some outdoor skills, like quick changes in cadence, can be practiced indoors with erg. It takes a few rides outdoors to adjust but the skills come back quickly.
I really am happy you did this video. I'm just starting on my wahoo trainer and erg mode has been frustrating me because I end up spinning out of control or it gets too difficult thought it was broken.. Thanks again.
@@HiDefSymphony hehehe. well, no true gamer could fault you for spending your money on slick bikes and a still-respectable tech setup :) Our GPUs steal all of our FTP watts!
18 min into this video and he has not told me to turn erg mode off. You must be shit in time tials you talk to much , walk your talk. Do a video on erg mode off 🙏 😊thanks. 😊
As others have said, FTP has morphed into some ego-led d1ck measuring statistic as it's all over Zwift and the forums. Just as Zwift is nothing like your ability as a real life cyclist, your 20 min performance is an over-estimation of the useful power you can produce for longer. It doesn't show how you'd perform in real life or how you compare to your peers. It may help track your progress but it's best kept to yourself, tbh.
I watched this video this evening and I do have some questions for you regarding Velosurance. What would be the best way for us to speak one on one? I recently bought another high end bike and would like some guidance.
Excellent video with very good information about insuring your bike! I am from a competitor of Velosurance called Sundays Insurance and your video is so good, I shared it with our whole team :)
Fantastic video !! that is exactly what and How I think ! i’m 53YO with a 320 FTP and i never used Erg mode for Zone to the higher Zone exist. Bang on!!
I own 4 bicycles. 2are regular bikes. The other 2 are e-bikes. I am looking for insurance for my 2 e-bikes. I found a company called Sunday Insurance. This is my first time trying to get insurance on my bicycles. I called Sunday Insurance. They have a office in Delaware. I would have to pay $16.00 per month for my 2 e-bikes. The reason that i want insurance for my e-bikes. I am not allowed to keep in my apartment. Due to too many fires, caused by those cheap ones in the market. I have been keeping my e-bikes chained up. At the back of the building,
real cycling group rides in the real world are basically unsaid races. the logic behind a group ride is to test your fitness against others outside a sanctioned race. I treat all social media group rides like training camps.
This is great info for starting with my first trainer! I want realism more than anything and ERG doesn't replicate the need to switch gearing for quick punchy climbs in MTB rides where I ride.
You can but you need to get it registered somewhere and they provide the link to their website. In my case, i had the receipts for both my bikes which were recently bought so i didnt have to go through extra steps. You need to know the serial numbers however and send them bike pictures including the serial number picture and this helps your claims to be processed fairly easily.
Do u have any tips on insuring bikes I’ve bought second hand? Payment is Venmo. I’ve been told I need to get them appraised but i have no experience with that
Yes I thought of this, too. But considering the price and factor of not being 100% sure I would only let them do it in the shop as a service or if you have an experienced person to make the decision.
I agree with the Sidi shoes having cleats a little far forward, I couldn't move the cleats further back enough for my liking. Do you have a full review of these already up?
