I've worked in restaurants since I was a kid, from deli counters to dishwashing and serving. Fresh out of College, I drove from Chicago to LA to help start a food truck in Los Angeles. A few years and odd jobs later, I became a private chef for a family in Chicago. With no culinary school background, I felt like an imposter but was determined to master cooking.
Simultaneously, I started making videos, documenting my culinary escapades and sharing discoveries here on RU-vid and Instagram. This became a massive hobby of mine and, crazy enough, I'm now lucky to call it my full-time job.
I'm grateful for this wild adventure life has thrown my way and for YOUR support. TY a ba-gillion times over for visiting my corner of the internet. Let's cook! 🤘🏼 Adam
You took thin crust Pizza to a Whole new level. New Haven? Where's New Haven? David Portnoy would be proud of this tavern classic crunch. Give that man a beer! Thanks for the vid.
Bro you guys tweaked on never having a hotdog from Chicago skyway hotdogs on 9480 S. Ewing Avenue. A hotdog from this place will clean the floor with any of these other places, hands down
That’s the most perfect pizza I’ve ever seen just a little lighter on the cheese the crust the color of the sauce the undercarriage the cheese pull doesn’t have all the cheese falling on top of the rest of the pizza
I’m a Chicagoan and have been in the pizza business for a long time. I have to say that Leo did a wonderful job of explaining the basics. Everyone should be able to make a Neapolitan at home now. Easy peasey. Great job Leo.
Dude.. the ornaments at top of the door are messing your steady shot.. these are at your head level and are fighting with you for the eyes of the spectator
I ordered many times over the years Lou Malnati’s pizza. I loved it. However, I am convinced the last year they cost reduced the pizza. Thinner crust, bland sauce with limited cheese. Tell me I’m wrong!
What is this thing you call leftover corned beef?!?!😂🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 there is never any in our house. But I have started canning it twice a year so I have some laying around.
An excellent video! Thank you! I grew up in Hollywood, CA. We had a place called The Dog House on the SE corner of Hollywood & Vine. The owners made their hot dogs exclusively with Vienna Beef Natural Casing frankfurters. When The Dog House closed down, I lost my favorite hot dog. 😢They don't sell them in Fresno, where I moved to, either. 😥 I can buy them on Amazon, but if I wanted a Vienna Beef dog today, I'm SOL. Maybe you could wield your power and influence to get them to ship the Viienna Beef natural casing frankfurters here, to California.
My hometown iss Champaign IL (East Central IL home of the University of Illinois) . Lived there until the late 90s. Then to Indianapolis area. Then back in 2009 before returning. In all those years, the horseshoe was a sandwich menu choice I had never heard. I kinda wonder if this sandwich was more popular among the politicians of Spring or the college students of Sangamon State University. 8 spent a fair amount of time in )eor8a, Bloomington -AbNormal, and Decatur .. and I can't ever recall someone talking of the horseshoe in the same way Hoosiers talk of pork tenderloin sandwich or Chicagoan speek of the Italian beef sandwich . it.seems to be a thickly sliced ham sandwich full of flavor. Just not at the same degree of sandwich boastfulness as the Italian beef or pork tenderloin sandwiches.
nice recipe bro, definitely i will try this ''version" , i use to eat basque cheesecake with a spoon of good honey on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon, its awesome, you should try this!
